He's a full back. Unless they're Marcelo or Alves level I don't any full back is worth a particularly large amount of money. City just have more money than sense.

He was a big talent with a lot of promise which is why he has played for PSG, Roma and Barcelona but he flopped at all those clubs. With that in mind 18m is a ridiculously high fee.

Don't think he flopped but he's simply unsuited for Barcelona as a full back. He's shit going forward but very good defensively. Think he'll be one of Evertons better signings

Serie A is really shaping up. Ronaldo to Juventus, Higuain at Milan and now apparently Inter are close to signing Modric

The latter especially are having a terrific transfer window so far. Vrsaljko Nainggolan de Vrij Lautaro and Asamoah in and they're actually pre-Modric still making a plus by selling some dead wood and players who didnt work out like Kondogbia.

TBF they have bought some good young players too. I wouldn't have objected to us signing someone like Richarlison for instance.

Appears that Vidal is on his way on Friday according to this Gazzetta journalist:

Meanwhile, Brozovic said on Instagram that deal was done for Modric but quickly deleted it, heard he's famous at trolling people or having fun.
