Glad we are not in this cup. We aren't on this level. Not with Wenger's coaching and Dick's recruitment.
PSG are butter. And this was a team without Draxler and Di Maria. Incredible. Always nice to see Bayern on the right end of a beating. Let's see how their social media team celebrate this one

Salty i know but at 3-nil, i began hoping for a 5-1.

I don't think he's wrong looking at City at the moment. We're two months into the season and they've scored like 40 goals already, and they're winning games in style. Guardiola is starting to have a transformative effect on them.

Yes, but as their opponents why make those comments publicly even if you believe them privately. Surely you want to have your own team fired up and feeling they have a decent chance. Napoli aren't a pub team from round the corner. They are top of Seroe A. I think mind games. Underdogging it.

I guess it's a bit of both. Napoli's squad is half as good as City's. He's probably trying to lower expectations a bit by bigging up Guardiola and pointing out what everyone else can already see.

Benzema missed an absolute sitter. 4 minutes gone, hope Spuds get torn a new one.

I watch the goals City are consistently scoring, and I realize how far away we are from having anything close to their team organization/play or talent.

Jinxed it, Spurs leading. Varane OG

Kane bottles a 1v1, thank god, his fan boys on here would have had a field day! It was actually a great save to be fair.

Madrid a shambles at the back, Tottenham wasteful.

He has fan boys here?
I cannot get my head round that as, to this day, i cannot appreciate bale or even cronaldo as they played for our rivals.
Even sol campbell never won me over as much as he deserved.
On a serious note, spuds are so much better than us it's gone beyond embarrassing.

they don't look likely to crumble any time soon, as poch seems keen to stick around, and insane transfer valuations are stalling the likes of kane and alli from being poached by bigger clubs like back in the day. hopefully the combination of lack of silverware and low wages starts to rot away at them

How can you like football and not appreciate C.Ronaldo?

Sol Campbell should be loved for coming to us in his prime. He won titles with us when Spurs were winning jack.

When will people accept that we're not rivals with United? We haven't been for years. It's not 2004 anymore it's 2017. That doesn't mean we should like them but let's be real here - not liking a great like Ronaldo because he played for United 8 years ago is weird.

As much as it hurts to say it, Spurs are a top side.

Spurs are a top side. City are just sensational. KDB was running the show again. He makes football a joy to watch

I'm sorry but i can't stand the man and do not enjoy his brand of athletic/mechanical/robotic football.
The only manu player i've ever kind of liked is denis law for back-heeling them down to the second division.

I'm putting money down on City to win Champions League this season. I can't stand them, but the odds are still good and their football is on another level compared to perhaps any other team right now. The bastards still have players like Gündogan coming back too.

Things can change quickly in football, but it looks like the pundits who were laughing at Guardiola's attempts to rebuild last season will be eating humble pie.

If neymar can stop acting like a little girl, I'd say PSG. Barca dark horses. Any dogged team like the atletico madrid teams of Simeone should be able to stop guardiola again.
What's the big fucking deal, he has the luxury of spending another 200 million every half season. Add to that the security of having the luxury of spending 200 mill if things don't go well, which is a big factor too. Let the little bitch do his thing at a club like liverpool or arsenal, then we'll eat humble pie.

I don't think it's super impressive to be able to build a top squad when you spend that kind of money either. I was mostly talking about how the press ridiculed him at times. It was obvious that he'd turn it around given enough time.

According to Telegraph they are only the 2nd team to draw at Madrid since 2009 in Europe. Previously only Dortmund did it. It was a really open game, Pochettino played 2 strikers and went for it, both teams could have won it easily.

Surprised how bad Dortmund and Monaco is this year.

El Shaarawy with a screamer for Roma:

What a caption, is he trying to disappoint people? 😆 Not that it isn't a great goal.

I know 😆 It was the only working video I could find on Twitter, but the guy really went overboard.

Why are At. Madrid shit now?

I don’t know, but I’m adding Eusebio di Francesco to my shortlist of Wenger replacements. Italy is a gold mine of managerial talent

di Francesco did an incredible job with Sassuolo too. I can easily see him manage a top Premier League side in a year or two if he doesn't sink at Roma.

😆 I love how three players are marking Dzeko of all people too. He's like a Giroud with one good knee. Per Mertesacker would have a decent shot in a sprint duel against him.

SStarted watching this game in the second half. Chelsea's passing seemed utterly off. Pitch effect ?or are they really not motivated ? commentators were going on about something not being right behind the scenes with conte and the club. To me  it seemed like they couldn't get used to that ground with uneven grass.
That above sequence of play was funny to watch. Should've been a goal.

That was a piece of amateur hour defending. My jaw actually dropped.

Picked it back up. I’m good now

That's even worse than the shit we serve up.

Seeing how shit Chelsea is this season just made me realise how we achieved that performance at Stamford Bridge. What an opportunity missed.

That reasoning points to us being their level and Roma would also spank us 3-zip.

They shouldn't have dumped Matic. He was as important to them as Kanté.
