Klopp is just impressive. This Liverpool team is so average on paper yet he has made them so formidable in attack. When Keita joins they are going to be very very hard to beat.

The tie is over for me. City has to attack all out in the 2nd leg and Liverpool will pick them off easily. Don't forget before Mane was sent off Liverpool were the better team at Eittihad too.

On oxlade - he's in the right place.
For the right players, Klopps tactics are simple/clear and remove difficult decsions from the players. Ox doesn't need to rely on the weak parts of his game (ie his brains and decision making). He looks better on a tight rein with proper instructions

Spot on

What decisions does Oxlade not have to make anymore?

Klopp is special though. He's doing this with several tremendously average players. What will Liverpool be like once they attract bigger names?

For real.

A midfield featuring Henderson, Milner and Ox is besting Man City.

Their forward line is strong though with one of the most in form players (Salah), a counter part that supports him (Firmino) and the erratic Mane. Don't think they'll do a whole lot better than those three, but they'll have even more freedom if/when they upgrade their midfield (Keita already on the way).

Meh, if Liverpool were THAT good, they wouldn't be competing for 3rd in the league. They're good on their day, and seem to be able to match City's style.

Sane has been rubbish tonight. Breaking down attacks time after time. I feel like he's a bit overrated. Loads of potential, good on his day now but still a bit raw.

the little shit sterling. Should've been carded too.

City being fucked by the officials tonight too.

Most of them really. Stricter coaching with clear instructions reduces the need for individuals to make shit up on the fly

Silva has been poor too. Out of place passes.

Having to always face a packed defence and having to choose the best option out of  gaziliions

It's far easier to make the right decision when there's so much space in front of you with only few options to choose from

They were wildly inconsistent in the first half of the season but ever since signing Van Djik they are no longer that vulnerable defensively.

Robertson is a really good LB. I always thought he would have been very interesting as a LWB but Klopp made him work in a back 4.

What specifically comes to mind first though? What decisions as a CM does he now not need to do that he would need to make at Arsenal.

It's all very vague.

You don't think the decisions he has to make as a midfielder in klopps tactical framework differ compared to wengers? If the answer is no, then i can't be arsed explaining it further
