Imagine all the shite the papers would write about him if he was kicking up a fuss publicly all the time. He'd be heaping added pressure on himself and the team for no good reason.

You literally said he should be screaming at his team mates and making a fuss though.

But again, he's new to the team, new to the country, new to the system, and he isn't categorized among the best players by any metric. He is a good player, that's it.

He isn't in any position to behave the way you would like him to.

Exactly, if anything I would say the first few months at a new club is actually the one time a player can just focus on improving himself and adapting. Once he's got to that level and his performances are up there, he'll automatically be in a position to lead.

We talked about Henry, van Persie, Pires etc above but none of them were running things from day one. Some others, like Sanchez and Vieira, are more vocal and capable of taking charge and - obviously that's to their credit - but it's not an issue if Lacazette isn't quite there yet by his 5th month at the club....

Then he can fuck off out of Arsenal as far as I'm concerned. I'm bored of this shit.

That's pressure? If that's pressure, these aren't professional sportsmen. The highest pressure is to win, who gives a shit about papers? You guys are all poisoned by this nice guy Wengery bullshit and forget what it used to be like when we were good.

Maybe we just don't think shouting at his team mates is what's going to make him score goals.

Agreed. The best goalscorers demand the ball. Messi, Ronaldo, Henry, Suarez, Aguero, Shearer, etc all had that trait.

I'd give Lacazette a bit more time though to see if he has it in him.

his heads starting drop a bit. hard to say if the english winter is taking it's toll. wouldn't be surprised to see olly given one last run if this goal drought continues

Was apparently ill yesterday and was a doubt right until kickoff.

Lacazette has now failed to score in his last 594 minutes of competitive action for Arsenal.

Lacazette seems to need us to smother teams. He’s physically lacking

Maybe we will loan him out at the end of the season.

He doesn't even look like scoring.

Looks like his head had dropped completely. He's not making that many runs anymore even afer laying the ball off to the wings. He needs a few goals to get his confidence back. This Lacazette is a shadow of his Ligue 1 days.
