Yep. Like I said in the other thread, he's going for €12 million and Roma didn't jump on the offer.
Other clubs transfer thread Summer 2017 ( Barcelona sign Dembele)
Morata to Chelsea almost done for the fee Madrid wanted, 80m euros. Better signing than Lukaku?
Better signing than both Lacazette and Lukaku by a country mile.
Manchester City reportedly have agreed to sign right back Danilo from Real Madrid for 30 million.
Why would you buy two right backs for a combined price of 80 million ?
Because money is not an object to you.

Yeah don't get it either. PSG activating Neymar's release clause for 200m is insane too, I mean you could buy 4 Kyle Walkers instead.
Not unless you had a cloning machine or would take 3 other non Spurs players named Kyle Walker, in which case you could buy hundreds

No. Mourinho might manage to curb Lukakus goal scoring though.
BBC say it's only £60m.
Chelsea have downgraded from Costa to Morata, it will be interesting to see how he does in the PL.
Looking forward to seeing him. I've always had my doubts about him.
Until he actually produces a top season people will have doubts. I think he'll do well enough but I don't see him being amazing just yet. Who knows.
i'm seeing 58m + clauses. that's a pretty good deal. he's a downgrade on costa presently, but i think he'll grow into a more than able replacement
I know Morata is talented and all, but 60m pounds for a guy who has never been a starter is outrageous. Also doesn't seem to really excel at anything, I've never noticed any outstanding attributes. It will be interesting to see how he does in the league as the main man.

With all of Mendy's pathetic Twitter 'clues', I really thought an agreement must have been very close. It could well still be of course, Sky are generally full of shit.
wonder if monaco's players will start to publicly grumble about all these rejected bids that are piling up
They say they won't stand in a player's way if they want to leave, but turning down a bid like that for a player like him flies in the face of that statement.
I'm guessing it's down to their efforts to try and keep Mbappe, as otherwise I can't see them being all that fussed at the idea of losing Mendy for £45m. Or maybe they just think he's worth more considering what City paid for Walker.
They have every right to demand 55-60m given Walker cost 50m.

The bigger question is why you would spend 30 million on Danilo? He's garbage...would rather many a RB than him.
He was impressive for Porto and had a lot of hype in Brazil (saw him play a few times). I remember having a conversation about him on here with DaGunner (think that was his name) about potential Sagna replacements. Thought he was gonna be huge but he was pants for Madrid. Some quality players have flopped at Madrid though it has to be said.
He's versatile ( can play LB) which explains why City are willing to spend money on another RB having just spent over 50m on Walker.
Yeah, Danilo came with a big reputation. It seemed like a lot of people expected more from him.
There might be some weird domestic circumstances at play that make players from Primeira so difficult to evaluate. There have been some shocking big money transfers from Portugal in recent years. Danilo and Mangala both looked terrible in better leagues. I think Carvalho is going to be found out in a similar way if he ever does move. Everything about that bloke just screams houseboat to me, from the way he moves to the way he touches the ball.
A bit like Eredivise. 50-50 in terms of hit and miss. But honestly speaking Danilo is way out of his depth in La Liga. Looks terrible whenever I seen him. Good that City is buying him, he will get eaten alive here.
I am not at all convinced by William as well even though he always looked the real deal for Portugal in international football. There's a reason he is still playing there at the age of 25 despite being linked with all the top clubs when he was 18.

Lukaku with a match winning performance againt City. That's 2-1 mofo!!
(I don't think I can keep this up...feels yuck talking up a man u player.)
Bernadeschi to Juventus sounds done.
On the one hand having Juventus plunder so much talent makes it easier for me as I don't watch much Serie A, but, putting my selfish interests aside, it's a shame to see him going there to likely get limited minutes. Not sure if he fits in their 3-5-2 formation from last season, but he could be a quick replacement for Cuadrado in their 4-3-3.

I think Bernardeschi will play as an attacking midfielder rather than on the flank.
On the subject of Juventus hoarding talents, the truth is that they're all there for the taking. No one was interested in Dybala outside of Italy and no one seems interested in Bernardeschi either despite him being a better talent than any of those young kids Monaco have unearthed, bar Mbappe. I have no idea why this is the case, but you can't blame them for moving on players that the rest of Europe for some reason or other don't seem to want.
Pretty much. I remember quite a few on here (including me) thought that the Palermo owner was just hyping up Dybala.

This doesn't relate to Dybala as such but remember reading long back that Italians are just not the best of travelers.
Yup. They're as bad as their English counterparts

I think it's just one of those things that appears to be true until it's not true anymore. What's clear is that they don't move a lot, but not why. The problem seems to be mostly related to a small sample size. People used to say the same thing about Italian managers. Fast forward 10 years to present day and 4 out of the 8 managers who've won Premier League are Serie A imports.
What surprises me is that I feel a lot of young Italian talent actually pans out as they're relatively patient on moving up and they have a decent development program. Would (potentially naively) trust us buying talent from Italy far more than from other English clubs, or from any league bar Spain and Germany.
Neymar to PSG done apparently. What the actual fuck

Looks like PSG wants Alexis too.
They both play on the left so, hopefully, them getting Neymar ends their interest in Sanchez.
Dijk on strike.
Keita/Dijk/Salah would be a brilliant summer, would boost the quality of the squad so much.
You guys aren't getting keita though
I think we'll get one of Keita or van Dijk.
Yes, van dijk
If that punk Dijk goes on strike to force a move I wouldn't want him anywhere near my team

I know right, what a Dijk.
