Coq plays all the time
Other clubs transfer thread Summer 2017 ( Barcelona sign Dembele)
Not giving Kante the wages he wanted, was a huge mistake

Not that impressed with Alex Sandro to be honest. Good player but not in the class of the top Brazilian fullbacks.
Bakayoko will be a better fit than Matic for Conte's game. They wanted a more mobile player.
higher price tag than they want for Aubameyang.
If either / both of these are available then we should ensure to sign one of them.

yet another top manager comes to the PL.
With his links to Ajax, Barca & Cruyff he will be looked at as a potential contender for AW's job.
Looked at by who? He's just signed up with Crystal Palace and he's already replacing AW, who is here until Kingdom Come?
Auba from Dortmund to China is doing the rounds. Can't blame him , the money is too good.
What a waste of talent and lack of ambition. This is the same guy who said he wants to be as good as Ronaldo and Messi basically retiring career early. I can understand guys like Pelle, Paulinho, Gervinho, Oscar etc. doing it as they will never be more than middle of the road players. Auba is someone who could be starting for a side capable of winning the CL and is arguably in the top 5 players in his position at the moment.

Anyone with an opinion at any of the rags or blogs - perhaps not now but I certainly expect his name to be more in the mix the closer AW comes to departure.
With his connections re Barca, Ajax & Cruyff he's of the same school as any of AW, Guardiola et al in terms of possession passing football and positional play, although he's probably based more upon the Dutch/Ajax model than the Spanish/Barca model.
Like Koemans at Saints I suspect that Palace is just a stepping stone by way of introduction to the PL with little pressure of UEFA expectation to begin with. I also think there will be a few clubs across UEFA that will be keeping an eye on his progress.

Perhaps it's just agent talk?
He'd also be the youngest of the current elite level goal scorers - although it's hard to see what elite level club he'd be likely to move to this summer, although he could move to a number of bigger clubs than BVB including AFC.
Report that Ruben Nuves going to Wolverhampton for 25mil. Remember couple of years back people treating him like he was the hottest midfielder to come on the scene in ages so kind of surprising. Crazy fee for a championship side though. Another dodgy Mendes deal.
Rumor that Chelsea is selling Nathan Aké for £20m. I am starting to suspect that Roman Abramoich is finding a way to prop up these fees. A negotiating team cannot be consistently THAT good.
Not rumour, they have sold him.
Borussia Dortmund have announced the signings of Maximilian Philipp, Dan-Axel Zagadou, Omer Toprak and Mahmoud Dahoud.

Seems like the standard price for young fringe PL talent - reports are that Citeh want about 20-25m for Iheanacho.
Ake is well worth it because you'll sell him for the same or more next season and he has the potential to make even more than that. He had a really good loan at Bournmouth last season too, they know exactly what they're getting. Funnily enough they're not launching big bids for another high profile loanee.

Because he's broken (again)?
And because he wasn't that good for them.

There's no way Aké is worth 20m ffs. Just because the English market has gone retarded doesn't make it acceptable to pay that kind of money for a solid midtable defender.
If Ake is here I doubt we would get 20m for him.
City is catching up on the stockpiling and selling for a profit shit as well.
Dortmund signing Toprak and Dahoud in one day is very impressive unless they've had unusually weak seasons.
They have signed them months ago.
Yeah, Dahoud's transfer has been public since the start of the year while Toprak was a done deal last summer already.
Chelsea sign Rüdiger from Roma for €38m. Don't rate him much, even if I did the fee is a complete joke
Seems a lot but that's the market. He doesn't strike me as anything special but then none of their centrebacks are anything special and they won the League with them. Also helps that they raked in £20m for Nathan Ake toward this.

Can't see this confirmed anywhere?
It's pretty much everywhere. Corriere and Gazzetta are both running with it as their headlines, according to them he's followed them on instagram (whatever that means)
Also Ruben Neves joined Wolves aka Jorge Mendes FC for 20m. That man will be the downfall of all of football if nothing else, he runs and ruins the game more than someone like Blatter ever did

In this market he's easily worth £20m. Stones went for £50m and he's not that much better. We got seriously lucky with Holding.
Its a figure we should be paying attention to when selling our young English players though. If Chambers is moving he should cost just as much.

Stones is probably the worst pound for pound transfer in history though, not exactly a sensible comparison. Süle went to Bayern for about 18m this same window and is five times as talented. Fees everywhere have gone up but only in England would a kid like Aké command 20m.
Agree about the second part though. If the club had any balls or sense they would be proactive in flogging our British core to pseudo ambitious midtable asshole clubs. Wilshere for 40m to Palace, Gibbs for 15m to Newcastle etc pp. Add Ox to that list if the claims about him demanding guaranteed playing time or excessive wages are true
Liverpool have the hots for Naby Keita. We should be getting in there. Him, Ramsey, Xhaka and Cazorla/El Neny (flog Le Coq at the first hint of decent money) is good collection of midfielders for the formation we ended the season with. It would also stop Liverpool who at the moment look like the only side interested from getting him.

Andy Carroll says Hi.

Keita is a pretty unique player and someone who is capable of running the show alone. Basically a Diaby who can spot a pass. 80m is far too much though.
I was looking at Goretza in this confederation cup and thinking, surely we can't pass up a talent like this on a free? He is like a more technically polished Ramsey, we need to snap him up.
I doubt they'll get 80m for him. Would be around 60m and that for me is fair value for a player as good as Keita in this market.
The market really is fucked. 80m for a player off the back of one quality season playing for the German version of Leciester City 2016. Madness.
keita is too good for the scousers. he'd be a beast in the epl
Borussia Monchengladbach have announced the signing of Matthias Ginter from Borussia Dortmund for a reported fee of €17million.
United have reportedly reached an agreement with Everton for Lukaku - GBP 75 Mn.
"Manchester United have got their number one target. I’m told the Wayne Rooney deal isn’t linked with this offer, although negotiations are going on between the clubs. Lukaku will have a medical in the next couple of days, which means he should be able to join up with the squad in America for pre-season. United report for training on Saturday and fly out on Sunday.
75m is huge, why would he go back to Mourinho though?
