I think he is a very good signing for United.

75m is huge, why would he go back to Mourinho though?

His agent in Mino Raiola, so he'll do as he's told. On that note, he's the 4th big Raiola client to go to United after Pogba, Zlatan and Mkhtarian.

I'm pretty pleased with this deal personally, 75m for Lukaku is a joke, even in this climate.

Yeah he's not 30m better than Lacazette. Everton has played a blinder here, they have signed very good squad players as a result.

I think he is a good signing even though United clearly got ripped off again by Raiola. Morata would have costed about 75m as well for instance and would have been a bigger risk than Lukaku

He is a good signing, probably safer bet than Morata too. But he's not better than Zlatan (by a long shot) and he's not the sort of striker that I worry about our rivals signing.

Thats a very good signing for United but I think he'll score less under Mourinho than he did at Everton.

Does this mean Chelsea might go for Belotti?

According to the Mirror, Chelsea are still in the race for Lukaku. With Raiola involved and know how United love to throw around money, I can't see it ending any other way though.

He is not an elite striker but he seems to be a proper Mourinho player who is now ready to lead the line of a Mourinho team.

Weird of Mourinho to sell him from Chelsea if he values him that much. It's not like Lukaku has had a surprising development.

The perfect Drogba replacement. He can now play his defensive football and pump it long again.

mourinho will probably get alot out of him. not too fussed

United are going to have a seriously big and physical team.

Lukaku is awful at the long game though. Doesn't have anything close to Drogba's ability to hold the ball up and bring others into play or the presence.

Spot on. Drogba was a god at holding up the ball, Lukaku is nowhere near. Good signing but not one I'm too bothered about, he was either going there or Chelsea.

The about this transfer, is the end of Morata to Untied. Does this affect the Mbappe transfer?

What?

Also apparently Atlético have agreed terms with Diego Costa. Would be hilarious if Conte resigned over this again 😆

funny reading everton forums. quite alot of them seem delighted, and arent convinced he'll make a big splash for the mancs. i tend to agree

His all round game isn't what I'd expect for a £75m player even though his goal scoring record goes a long way in justifying his hype. His game did improve last season but at a top club where teams will sit back and not give him space to run into it will need to improve further.

I think the Everton fans knew he was using them as a stepping stone and he has disrespected the club. Many appreciated the goals but saw their relationship between player and club as more convenience rather than actually really liking the guy, if that makes sense!

I think he'll be a success there and a better fit for them than Morata.

That makes sense Gazza's observation on Everton forums.

Could we get 75m from City for Sanchez?

You could make a video like this for most strikers, but this is the Lukaku I see when I watch him. He's a poor footballer but a decent goalscorer and physically blessed. I would be delighted if he's United's starting striker for the next 5 years.
