Other clubs transfer thread Summer 2017 ( Barcelona sign Dembele)
Not giving Kante the wages he wanted, was a huge mistake

Not that impressed with Alex Sandro to be honest. Good player but not in the class of the top Brazilian fullbacks.
Bakayoko will be a better fit than Matic for Conte's game. They wanted a more mobile player.
higher price tag than they want for Aubameyang.
If either / both of these are available then we should ensure to sign one of them.

yet another top manager comes to the PL.
With his links to Ajax, Barca & Cruyff he will be looked at as a potential contender for AW's job.
Looked at by who? He's just signed up with Crystal Palace and he's already replacing AW, who is here until Kingdom Come?
Auba from Dortmund to China is doing the rounds. Can't blame him , the money is too good.
What a waste of talent and lack of ambition. This is the same guy who said he wants to be as good as Ronaldo and Messi basically retiring career early. I can understand guys like Pelle, Paulinho, Gervinho, Oscar etc. doing it as they will never be more than middle of the road players. Auba is someone who could be starting for a side capable of winning the CL and is arguably in the top 5 players in his position at the moment.

Anyone with an opinion at any of the rags or blogs - perhaps not now but I certainly expect his name to be more in the mix the closer AW comes to departure.
With his connections re Barca, Ajax & Cruyff he's of the same school as any of AW, Guardiola et al in terms of possession passing football and positional play, although he's probably based more upon the Dutch/Ajax model than the Spanish/Barca model.
Like Koemans at Saints I suspect that Palace is just a stepping stone by way of introduction to the PL with little pressure of UEFA expectation to begin with. I also think there will be a few clubs across UEFA that will be keeping an eye on his progress.

Perhaps it's just agent talk?
He'd also be the youngest of the current elite level goal scorers - although it's hard to see what elite level club he'd be likely to move to this summer, although he could move to a number of bigger clubs than BVB including AFC.
Report that Ruben Nuves going to Wolverhampton for 25mil. Remember couple of years back people treating him like he was the hottest midfielder to come on the scene in ages so kind of surprising. Crazy fee for a championship side though. Another dodgy Mendes deal.
Rumor that Chelsea is selling Nathan Aké for £20m. I am starting to suspect that Roman Abramoich is finding a way to prop up these fees. A negotiating team cannot be consistently THAT good.
Not rumour, they have sold him.
Borussia Dortmund have announced the signings of Maximilian Philipp, Dan-Axel Zagadou, Omer Toprak and Mahmoud Dahoud.

Seems like the standard price for young fringe PL talent - reports are that Citeh want about 20-25m for Iheanacho.
Ake is well worth it because you'll sell him for the same or more next season and he has the potential to make even more than that. He had a really good loan at Bournmouth last season too, they know exactly what they're getting. Funnily enough they're not launching big bids for another high profile loanee.

Because he's broken (again)?
And because he wasn't that good for them.

There's no way Aké is worth 20m ffs. Just because the English market has gone retarded doesn't make it acceptable to pay that kind of money for a solid midtable defender.
