He joined City when they were a non-CL team, so who knows. Being a guaranteed starter at a big club like Arsenal especially in wold cup year, could be very tempting for him IMO. Getting Agüero, would the be extracting the maximum out of Alexis. He is gone, and him staying (which was my absolute number one option) which that clown in charge ensures that he will leave for nothing. If we could say for certain that we would get back to the CL as a minimum it would be worth it, but we are already in complete chaos, three games in 😆
So getting Agüero, and going for the Brandt's, Lemar's and Draxlers are the best thing.
The problem is, if we went and did this and Wenger remains in charge, what will change?
Even if we land Sterling/Agüero/Brandt/Draxler etc, it will be for nothing until that man is gone.
