Sell everyone to avoid getting rid of one man. That being said I'm not opposed to it. I'll take some new shiny toys as a distraction at this point.

I would have taken it at the start of the window once Wenger signed on. Keeping both, the same players and the same manager was never going to give a different result.

Why it needs a big loss is what I don't understand.

Especially about Ox. If you want to sell him to Chelsea just fucking sell him at the start of the window. Why give him a full pre-season, start him in every bloody match at the expense of many others only to sell him with 2 days to go? It's insane.

For me any swap deal should involve Aguero  (who grantees you around 30 goals a season,  will basically replace Alexis' goals).

You reckon Agüero is curious about Europa League?

He joined City when they were a non-CL team, so who knows. Being a guaranteed starter at a big club like Arsenal especially in wold cup year, could be very tempting for him IMO. Add in the London factor and just that feeling of being appreciated/rated by the manager etc could all help persuade him to join us.

No top player likes sitting on the bench, not even at clubs like Barca or Real Madrid.

We should take both Sterling and Aguero for Sanchez. If they want him that badly they will make the deal.

I'm guessing they want Sanchez to strengthen their squad, not weaken it.

Or maybe they want Sanchez to strengthen their starting 11?

Yeah, we should definitely be pushing for both Agüero and Sterling.

Getting Agüero, would the be extracting the maximum out of Alexis. He is gone, and him staying (which was my absolute number one option) which that clown in charge ensures that he will leave for nothing. If we could say for certain that we would get back to the CL as a minimum it would be worth it, but we are already in complete chaos, three games in 😆

So getting Agüero, and going for the Brandt's, Lemar's and Draxlers are the best thing.

The problem is, if we went and did this and Wenger remains in charge, what will change?

Even if we land Sterling/Agüero/Brandt/Draxler etc, it will be for nothing until that man is gone.

I'm not sure why we're assuming Sanchez is worth more than Aguero - somebody explain to me?

Well yeah not much will change but we'll at least end up with a high calibre goalscorer who could help us win a cup (Europa League, FA cup etc)

Mainly because he's better.

There are Sky tweets going around, that Arsenal are asking for Agüero in return. Obviously Agüero for whatever reason, doesn't seem to be the number one option for City, so who knows?

I personally think that Agüero and Lacazette upfront, with a capable midfield would actually cause havoc, but unfortunately we would still have Wenger

If Aguero is better why is Sanchez worth more ;D

Striker is the only position I feel we have a good starter and a good backup, so maybe Sterling + money would be better than Aguero.

So our plan to replace Mustafi is... Johnny Evans.

Aguero's a fucking crock, he'll never regularly play for us. Might as well get Sterling.

He's not that bad but he's not quite as good as Mustafi and he's nearly 30. I suppose if we rotated him with Kos and Holding it might work.

He's a bit injury prone but he's still made more than 30+ league appearance every year since 13/14.

I'd love to get Aguero but I don't believe for a second we are demanding him as part of the deal.

Awesome. Anothet Man U reject. They always work out well for us.
