Forget the penalties , he is getting beaten by low near post shots with regularity these days. I am certain coaches tell their players to target that area .
Cech needs to be dropped asap!!
Ospina has been great in the CL, but I still feel better when Cech is playing. He has conceded a few soft goals, but ultimately that happens with all goalkeepers when the sample size of games gets big enough.
I wasn't very convinced by Ospina against Preston, I have to say. That disallowed goal is the perfect example, (which by the way, I've seen those given). The guy struggles to compete in the air and long term I don't think you can have a keeper like that in England.
I agree. Wouldn't be long before he was targeted every week and we are already a little bit weak in the air.
Bump!
We have to buy someone big in the summer. Regardless of who our manager is.
Ospina has been dodgy lately too but Cech deserves to be dropped for that fuck up.
he was supposed to give us 6-7 good years. But he's already given us mistakes the level that got lehmann out of the club. Big headache for wenger now.
He's so shit. Poor Ospina has been impressive in most games he's played.
gk is another problem area for us now. he's declining rapidly
Yeah, wouldn't even talk about the fuck up as it was a game over anyway, it's just the general stopping that worries me. It seems like he's not so quick and "big" when it matters anymore. Definitely not a solution for another 3 years.
He doesn't win us any more points than he loses us at this stage, and looking at his career path and age, he's clearly on the decline. The league is lost so I don't really mind him continuing to play for the rest of this season only.
Hopefully the club is monitoring Sczcesney's progress abroad carefully or Wenger is willing to put Ospina in for a few games in the latter stage of the league so we can see him in a PL context.
He has been poor for awhile now, not just this pathetic match. In all areas he really hasn't been up to it.
His distribution is shocking
Sir Chesney has apparently been having a decent season for Roma. Very few mistakes.
I liked him a lot and I do hope he makes a comeback here. The problem is, I think the keeper coaching setup at Arsenal might just be shite, and Chesney improving might have to do with him de-Arsenalising.
Chelsea really did a number on us with Cech.

Biggest thing is the defense in front of him, I think. He's been good, but not a world beater anymore. It's like watching the last season of Seaman. By that point Seaman was well beyond his heyday when he used to pull out saves like the Sheffield United one.
Yet to be convinced that Cech is good enough to be a number 1 for any top 6 team. Ospina hasn't convinced me either. Reckon we should make a move for Jack Butland when he recovers and have him compete with Cech for the jersey. I'm sure once he regains full fitness, he will surpass Cech easily.
Goalkeeper has gotta be a priority. Lost count of the number of times we let in a shit long range shot since Cech took over as number 1.
Pickford or Butland would be a good move. Not entirely convinced with Donnaruma yet.

Well it's always dangerous catching a player on the way down.
ManU with Di Maria. Ozil took ages to settle if he was older he'd have been a complete flop.
The entire QPR team a couple of years ago.
Read laurens interview in the guardian earlier in the week, after he left arsenal his desire was gone.
Even when you look at Fuham a few years back Senderos was shit and Hangeland was really decent. Senderos had more talent but one player is on the way down and the other is on the way up.
In simple terms if you were the area Manager in Pizza Hut for 10 years, but now you're just cleaning the toilets there. Will you approach that shit stain with the vigour of a young gun trying to get ahead in the world. Or will you just try to clean as much as if off as you can with your piss stream and think that'll do?
