I think you may be right asa.

Though he does get off more lightly than Denilson, probably 'cos he had talent before the injuries, maybe because he runs occasionally, or possibly as he hasn't been as bad for quite so long...

I'm happy that Rosicky's making it through the season without falling apart. We cannot afford to miss this opportunity to off-load him.

I've read that Rosicky's contract might be up at the end of this season. Anyone else heard that?

He signed a new contract last season didn't he?

Yeah, though they didn't say it was 'long term' like they usually do, so who knows how long it is. I'm guessing it was a couple of years.

I think it was Arseblog that said it was expiring, or I might have seen it from someone on Twitter. I thought maybe he might have signed a year extension with the option of a further year or something. Transfermarkt.co.uk reckon it runs out in 2012, though.

Either way I think he'll be off this summer. Seems like he has some professional pride about him and I dont think he will settle for being a hanger on at Arsenal.

Rosicky is the one getting off scott free.

I REALLY don't think he is!!!

If someone offered to take him for free I'd snap their hand off.

4 days later

Got to be worried about Carroll vs Koscielny and Squillaci next weekend. Even if Djourou comes back we may be scuppered.

He's a good striker. Doesn't matter if he can't slalom his way around 12 players. That's just footy snobbery

A guy of his size knocks down the "slalom flags" as if they weren't there.

What with the change of title?
Stan hasn't taken over yet and already he's the bad money guy in the suit that says no.
It's bloody Wenger that won't buy the players- the money guy's listen to him and are only too delighted with what they hear

Hey don't you know that casual cynicism is all the rage these days Biggus? ๐Ÿ™‚
I've been told it protects you from the trauma of being disappointed :hmm:

I'm against it myself.

I suspect Kroenke will be in favour and supportive of a high profile addition to the team.

And me too because it doesn't protect me.

Why do you think I've been bitching for the past 3 years?
Anyone with any brains would have given up on this lot till Wenger is gone- long ago.

Has it been three years?!
You can't ever give up on Arsenal Biggus.

In - Messi
Out - Almunia, Denilson, PHW

Back in 2008 when we did our usual performance of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory,
As Wenger let Flamini and Gilberto go replaced them with Denilson and made that Chelscum/Spudite Gallas capi I had my conversion on the road to Tarsus, it suddenly occurred to me that he didn't know what he was doing anymore.
