Yeah, I guess.
Loan Watch [2016/2017]
Crowley has his loan cut short again, this time by Oxford. He returns to Arsenal. Wonder what's up with him.

Unprofessional.
Not the first time its being hinted that he's a massive bell end.
Its enough to tell you he won't make it here. If lower league clubs are terminating his deals he probably won't make it anywhere in the top flight.
On better news, Jack has been voted player of the month for Bournemouth.

Can't wait to have Wilsh back. Bit of class and character in our midfield.

If he can't be head and shoulders above that bunch consistently all through his loan spell, he might as well not come back.

Good thing he is then.
Didn't see the match but apparently chambers got destroyed by martial
Yeah he was very poor. Only way he'll make it here is as a squad filler ala jenkinson
I was pretty harsh with him in the PL thread, but in fairness he was played as a right back. We already know he isn't very good in that position.
Not on loan I know but rumours that Zelalem will leave at the end of his contract next summer
That would be such a shame
Never seen anything in his loan spell or brief appearances with us to suggest that he will make it here.
Gnabry is the serious loss.
Calum Chambers' game by numbers: 100% tackles won 75% pass accuracy 12 clearances 5 aerial duels won 3 interceptions
Great game by Chambers yesterday, he played CB. Has had some very good games at CB this season.
In the United game he was played at right back to cover for Baragan who was injured(I think that's his name), and he was rosted by Martial on more then one ocassion. But he was not helped, always 1 vs 1 with Martial who can kill even some of the best rb...
Do people still actually care about our youth prospects? How many years have to go by where almost every single one of our hyped-up kids ends up playing in League 2, until people figure out that our scouting and youth setup is average?
Even if you broaden it to include young teenage acquisitions, a lot of other clubs do better than we do at spotting future stars (Chelsea, Spurs, Dortmund, Leicester, etc.).
Calum Chambers has suffered a stress fracture of his foot. No return date has been set yet.
Such a shame, was having a great season.

We have Iwobi and to a lesser extent Bellerin starring in our first team. Of course we care about the kids. And within England, only Spurs has done a (very marginally) better job of drafting kids into the first team. The thing with kids is you have to realise that this is not 1995, when football was very local and a great academy was crucial. So it is normal that the yield will be lower. The trick is to master the art of getting transfers in between 17 and 21, not necessarily about hoping that more than 2 or 3 out of your 200 kids who came in at age 9 are going to make it. That second one is where I think Dortmund is quite smart, but we haven't been laggards either when you consider we've found Bellerin, Walcott, Ramsey at that exact point.
Jack was MotM v Watford for a completely non-impactful performance. That said, his silky runs and ghost turns are all back.
His lack of end product is a concern. I'm not asking for double figures but 1 assist in 16 games is dire. He's not 18 anymore.
