At any rate, this is getting way off topic. I'm out.
Ozil contract talks
Enough of the laughter, my ego can only take so much.
I'm confused. So you rate Kane but didn't remember saying it. Is it because you rate him and didn't want to say its and forgot that you did, or you rated him before but not anymore and had forgotten you had rated him in the past. I'm not trying to take the piss out of you (well at least not completely), am genuinely fascinated since your denial was so strong.
He was fine yesterday, the cross was very good for the goal.
That said, he looks a bit off the pace physically to my eye the last few weeks, hopefully he's not in the famed "red zone" and Wenger can get him back to top gear
More worried he's in the dreaded "won't sign a contract and about to move anyways" zone.

Siccy got pwned.
It took Klaus 6 minutes to find that.
Wow!
Think our chances of keeping Sanchez are looking pretty grim tbh.
As they should be when we show no chance of getting out of stall speed each season. Good luck to him, the club will still be there in 4th without him.
If there are two players who deserve the very best at this club, it's Sanchez and Koscielny. I want them taken care of, financially and with the support and coaching they need to win. I can't fault these two for effort. Give Sanchez Cazorla's salary, and bring back Wilshere if money is tight.
Speaking of tight money, something tells me that by the end of this season, we will have spent most of our current kit Emirates and kit manufacturer deals. Anyone remember the draw down schedule?
There's an attitude misalignment between Sanchez and the majority of the team and the gaffer. It doesn't look like a good cultural fit. He needs a Simeone. But that might not be a good cultural fit for many of our slackers. Tough situation this
The least we could do is pay him the money he deserves. At least he wouldn't feel so annoyed about having to do his own job as well as compensate for the mediocrity he's surrounded with.
I'm really starting to feel like we'll keep Ozil but lose Sanchez. Ozil seems more content with being at Arsenal (the ups and downs) and in some way we fit his character. Contrast this with Sanchez who seems increasingly frustrated.
Could be that Sanchez was mostly frustrated about his own dogshit performance.
He's always been like that. Remember reading he was furious in his first season after we lost to Southampton in the league cup while everyone else was indifferent. Whats slightly different is how he's been reacting to teammates when he doesn't get the ball or when they play the wrong pass, worse than prime Thierry.
I think ozil is more likely to leave. I think playing in an elite squad suits him. Rather than carry all the burden of creating chances. In big games he disappears here while bayern would dominate more and get the ball to him more. I think it was bild that said ozil was very eager to leave last year " off the record" as in they couldn't use the quotes.
Sanchez is a fighter and I think fighters often show more loyalty. But like what been noted already his personality doesn't seem to fit the squad.

The guy with the most goals + assists across all European top leagues can be forgiven for having a poor performance every now and then. And even then more than half the team was worse and didn't even try, pretty safe to say he was frustrated more with his team mates than himself
As he should be. If these spineless fools put in a shift, he wouldn't have to spend half of his game dropping into central midfield to look for balls. I think he's a flight risk at this point. He's going to come to the same conclusion that Henry, Fabregas, van Persie and others reached

Find it hard to blame him when the quality around him is so dire. He shouldn't have reacted the way he did when Ramsey didn't make the correct run though.
