Injury Thread...It's Never Ending
Interesting article on the way hamstring injuries seem to be getting worse
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/mar/02/hamstring-injuries-research-premier-league
We somehow get past PSV and have Mart and Saka returning then we go all in on the CL. Madrid or no Madrid. Semi’s would be Liverpool and we can beat them over two legs.
Next two CL games are huge for Arteta. He can still save the season.
If Premier League clubs are hiring chiropractors, it suddenly makes sense to me why they can't get a grip of injuries.

Edit:
Sicario2 - Tier 1 I really don't expect to see Saka at his pre injury level this season. I'm still a little worried about how much the injury might have taken from him. Hopefully negligible but you never know. But I think it's unlikely Saka is going to come back and be making a big difference for at least 4-6 weeks after such an injury.
Sicario2 - Tier 1 someone in the comments saying it's an old photo?
Sicario2 - Tier 1 Good grief Bukayo don't do this to us kid.
Well, no real surprise there. They said beginning of april, is later March really that different? Will be nice to get him back though
From the horses mouth:
Can't wait!
He may not be at his best when he returns, but it will be a boost to the team no matter what.
Even Saka's injury wasn't enough to change this pattern.
Calafiori went down on international duty. Needs a scan.
QuincyAbeyie we have one dominant baller besides Saka. We need another player who can ball higher up in the field. My dream is Wirtz but I could also wish upon a supermodel appearing on my doorstep
As a club we should dream big. We are trying to win the league, and we have the money. Why not? If we are in the big leagues we better start acting like it. If he decides not to come to us, that's fine, but if a player like Wirtz is on the market, we are more than capable of making him an offer that would be competitive, and Arteta apparently keeps people's family pics and knows where their daughters go to school in case we need extra "incentive".
flobaba at this stage of our development, Wirtz is the kind of attacker we should be targeting. We need to improve our attacking potential. In comparison, our main rivals have Salah who is delivering the greatest season ever in Premier League history, and Haaland who reached 100 goals 15% quicker than anyone else.
These are e foggin standards!
Qwiss annoying. Thank goodness we at least have options in that part of the pitch although Cala is one of our best attacking options right now!
Just checked and looks a bit of a freak injury (stud fell off).

Don Pacifico nah, nothing freakish about an injury prone player getting injured.
Is it the same knee already known about?
Apprently only about 3 weeks. Hopefully that's all it is.
Ugh. It's a drag. He's a quality player and very fun to watch. Mind you we would've all wanted Skelly in for Madrid anyway.
Burnwinter I want them both in
For fuck's sake.
Getting over this guy pretty quick.
You guys are so harsh.
Ricky got the same injury slipping the exact same way. It's something he must learn to avoid.
Worried that he just has that panicky, thrashing, vaguely stupid gene...that it's a lack of awareness, poise, and calm that results in such bizarre contortions that lead to these so-called freak injuries.
Lessgoooooo
Let's hope he gets 20 mins against Fulham, 30 against Everton and then a mighty 90 against Real!
