You could add some detail:
That is absolutely terrible. Can't see him getting a job after that.
Leeds United owner caught doing something dodgy as well.
In other news, water is wet.
In other news, Newcastle played Norwich tonite and Norwich as far into the game as the 94th minute were winning.
They ended up losing 4-3. Newcastle scoring in the 95th and 96th minute respectively.
Quite an interesting read about the curious case of Ben Arfa's Hull career.
He doesn't work hard enough and even at Newcastle he was seen as overweight. Talent without work ethic doesn't get you anywhere.
Aston Villa's last 5 managers:
Tim Sherwood: Feb-Oct 2015
Kevin MacDonald (caretaker): Oct-Nov 2015
Remi Garde: Nov 2015-March 2016
Eric Black (caretaker): Mar-Jun 2016
Roberto di Matteo: Jun-Oct 2016
That a bunch of utterly hopeless managers.
Of all the mid table clubs, think Swansea is the bravest in terms of appointment.
I'd never heard of him but google immediately came up with this.

If Pogba's worth €100m what's Griezmann worth?
Neat goal.
A millionaire footballer not paying child support is a proper asshole though. And, to go to these lengths to continue to avoid doing right by the woman he impregnated says quite a lot about his character too.
Not defending Valencia here as I don't know his case but people not wanting to pay child support doesn't necessarily mean they don't care about their children.
Pretty good indicator that they care more about money than their children though.

Spot on. He's a piece of shit.
Yep total twat
Özil's 35th assist for Germany since the debut in February 2009.
Sublime player

Think my first post wasn't worded clearly. Some (at least Rex' claim of Valencia "doing right by the woman he impregnated" indicates as much) seem to be missing that child support isn't paid to the child but its mother. And there are many women exploiting their children for that very reason; if a man pays a more than reasonable sum to the mother of his child but refuses her demands for more would you say he cares more for his money than his children?
I don't know the ins and outs of this particular story, but to me it seems far fetched that police would be actively trying to get to Valencia like this if he was doing what he should.
Because we all know police are always to be trusted, especially in countries like Ecuador.
It's a far fetched and ridiculous situation whatever way you look at it, you can't derive any information out of the cops' behaviour here. How is it they were unable to detain him outside the stadium but were able to attempt arrest after he played 82 minutes, why is the golf cart driver not complying with the cops and why are there a dozen policemen in full attire lightly jogging after him in the first place.
Don't know, don't care. Honestly, he seems like a piece of shit to me. That seem far more plausible to me at this time, so I'll go with that for now.
Yeah, that sensible attitude seems a lot like you Rex
Yeah, the police are acting over dramatic, and attention seeking for the media, I'm sure they could have dealt with him behind closed doors.
You know what, Jones? We can't all be into conspiracy theories like you are. Yes, a healthy dose of skepticism is good to have, but it also helps to keep in mind that in most cases the more likely explanation is actually correct.
Yeah because reserving judgment when you do not know the details of a case is the same as buying into conspiracy theories.

not very surprising as he always looks for assists even when he is one on one with the goalkeeper as in this video. not the best of plays.

When someone says things about a person like you just did, I think it is correct to expect more than "I don't know the details and I don't care".
Also,I think it was the right decision by Özil to pass there.

I agree.

I don't really care about Valencia, and I don't care enough about the story to be bothered to look into it. A guy who won't pay alimony for his kid, who comes up with an elaborate, and frankly ridiculous, plan to 'escape' - yeah, I just call it as I see it. I also said 'for now' btw; if more information about this comes to my knowledge, I expect I will adjust my position on the guy accordingly. For now he seems like a tool and a piece of shit. This is also my last post on this subject because, frankly, it's quite tedious.
Well we know that the police were after him for not paying his child support. So unless you can prove the police are wrong I think its fair to say the guys a scumbag. The burden of proof is on those claiming he doesn't need to pay it.

He has scored 21 goals in the process too; that's basically the same scoring rate that Alexis has for Chile.

This Aurier fella is in the headlines non-stop. Quite a character. Goes and undoes his good will by making a "throat-slit gesture" at the Mali fans later in the game too...
Think he's an excellent player.
He's the best right back in the world in my opinion

That sounds almost like a Savz post. You should be skeptical based on the fact that cops are lightly jogging on a running track in a packed stadium behind a bloke in a golf cart ffs.
That wasn't my point anyway. I'm saying "unpaid" child support can mean many things and not seldomly is it women trying to squeeze more money out of the fathers of their children, especially when the guy is rich
It's not like she just came up with an arbitrary number and blackmailed him on it; there are laws deciding how child support is calculated.
Bottom line is—and I agree with Qs and Rex on this—that if you don't pay child support for your own kid despite being able to afford it you blatantly don't give a shit about the kid. He gets zero sympathy from me either. It's one thing to be hounded by the police, but this dipshit deserves to be shamed in public.
Klaus wrote:It's not like she just came up with an arbitrary number and blackmailed him on it; there are laws deciding how child support is calculated.
The amount of alimony paid isn't necessarily decided by law, it's possible to decide the amount of child support paid every month just between the two of them. It's also possible for one of the two parties to break that understanding and as I know a couple cases like that I'm reserving judgment, doubly so if we're talking about a third world country like Ecuador.
Regardless, it's something agreed on beforehand and it's not like she can ask for more than the law stipulates. We're talking about a multimillionaire who isn't providing for his kid. You're playing the world's smallest violin here, jonesy.
I'm pretty sure she can ask for more than "the law" (since there's more than just one) stipulates, family law is a mess here in central Europe I'm sure it's the same in South America. And again Klaus, I said a couple times that I'm not arguing his particular case, just saying there's more than meets the eye when people talking about unpaid child support.
