Could list a good dozen strikers I'd rather than him but he's not bad enough to warrant fielding Giroud and fucking air for another nine months straight. Pay whatever they want, I'd rather Aulas uses that money to overspend for mediocre Ligue 1 players than it wasting away in Kroenke's bank accounts in Delaware.

Our bid was apparently from way before and we haven't followed up. Noticed how they didn't mention the date at all. West Ham followed up with an improved offer of 35m pounds so we can assume our 29m pounds bid came before them

Another in a long line of over rated European CFs at the moment, that is the major part of why they are priced so high though.
He's a better and more tenacious dribbler than I had thought. Also, he's a very physical player. Think he'd do quite well at West Ham, and if we only sign some nobody or actually nobody we're gonna be furious we didn't get him.
