The Twitteratis are gaining nothing out of rumours made of players coming into Arsenal. Seeing the current mood, it's easier for them to just make up rumours about first team players leaving Arsenal and Monreal was stupid enough to give them the push.

I had originally thought that DeGea to Madrid would set in motion the chain of events that would result in Benzema coming here - that was obviously way off of the mark.

I have to say the Martial fee is absolutely nonsense. How do United keep getting conned into all these deals? Don't forget Monaco offered Martial + Wallace to Valencia for just 50m euros 2 weeks ago. To pay 56m + add ons rising up to 80m potentially is football going crazy.

I remember at the start of the summer Spurs bidded 10m euros for Monaco and they rejected it, wanting double of that but Spurs didn't follow up. How times have changed just 8 weeks later.
