Send for the Law Man
Krystian Bielik
transfers like this, if what is written in the paper is true, really drive me nuts. we supposedly offered £1.6m and legia wants £2.5. that is a difference of £900k. i understand economics. i understand that you should never pay more for something than you have to. and if the difference was £15m, then i get it. but if we like this kid and want him, why are we dicking around? £900k is less than the revenue we make from one home match. im sure the hamburg thing is just leverage to make sure they get their £2.5m, but why not just get this done? get him in, get him training. every day we waste is one less day he has to settle. sure, hes not going to have any impact this season, but why prolong his settling in period?
£900k is nothing, I imagine it is some sort of sell on particular or % that is the major issue.
If we are haggling over £900k we are out of our mind.
It's his salary we should be fussing over, not the transfer fee. 2m is nothing considering what we've paid for others.
Guardian say we'll probably do a deal for £2.4m.

That is nice, but he will probably stick to U21 football for quite awhile. We need to build him up physically.

The asking price was 2.5? we managed to knock off a whole 100K with our persistent, astute maneuvers
in the market. Get in!
A whole 2 week's worth of diaby's wage (excluding national insurance and all that).
Hope we aren't bothering to haggle around the transfer fee at these levels.

If Woj wants him here he doesn't even need to go through a whole ten pack to cover the cost.
CONFIRMED: Legia Warsaw has announced that the deal is done and he will sign for us if he passes his medical on friday.

I'm excited - hopefully we can mould him into a proper defensive mid. You have to snap up these top talents when they're young anyways.
Proper Arteta replacement.
Isn't this kid like 17? It'll be years until we see him anywhere near the first team.

Yep, 17.
At least he's tall. Not much more I can say really. Meh.
We're not exactly loaded with options at DM. If he's good enough, he'll probably get a game sooner rather than later.
Hes one for the future we wouldn't have noticed the signing if his club didn't harp on about it in the press. He'll get used to training with us and then if hes looking physically ready go on loan next season.
The next Leon Goretzka. Hope he starts against Man City.

that seems unlikely. everything that has been written so far indicates hes going to train with the first team, play a few games for the u21s and that he might get a few games in the first team before the end of the year. given our injury luck, he'll probably be starting the champions league game against monaco. i doubt he goes out on loan, and i expect him to be in the first team next year in place of flamini.
