Don't think it is fair to say Rooney dived there when he was only protecting his career.
Not the best of draws, but bring on the Mancs! Gabriel going all Martin Keown on Persie, Alexis brace, and then a Welbeck goal for the exclamation mark.

I'd fucking love it if Welbeck scored the winner!

Quick question to those that think we will get beat.

Imagine if you were an Arsenal player and someone showed you a thread on red cafe with majority of posts saying: "don't mind Arsenal, they have always been our bitches" or "Arsenal at home shouldn't be too hard, we having been owning them for years...FA Cup is ours!!" Or "men v boys part 10" etc.

Would you still play like you think we have no chance?

Eh? O que ele diz?

We'll go out after a typical limp performance.

Alexis will probably do his groin and the mancs will take the pee

Ashley young to be the chief tormentor

Ozil to have a stinker

😆

i think we'll knock them out like we did in 03 (yes that's how far back i have to go to when we last beat them away in a proper big game).

rope a dope, play on the counter. they're not that good at pressing or hemming teams in like they used to be. imo we're capable of exposing them badly if we don't bottle it. big if, i know

Sorry guys, I'll hold my hand up for this one. 🙁

I'd fucking love to get a blow job from Neve Campbell, but its unlikely to happen.

Yep, may as well start looking forward to the CL qualifying games in august.

You've got us down as winning "the prize" already?

You can take that to the I told you so thread Boss.

United are playing their worst football in over 2 decades, and we're not talking about a slight dip. What's happened in the past, in a period where we were playing some of our worst football, is an irrelevance.

Wanted this, so I'm quite happy.

Should be a very good game.

in the same boat, Flobsy. we have to beat these cretins some time and now is as good a time as any. and i want a proper beating. our ballerinas should be pirouetting around them and taking the mick by the 63rd minute.

I am actually impressed that Rooney managed to piece together real words where the meaning isn't completely lost.

What a throwback.

For those of you too young to remember, this is the pinnacle of Biggus' sexual fantasies.

@RAWK_Meltdown
(Man Utd) Arsenal will rip these fuckers to bits, just like we would given the opportunity.

Surely inspires confidence to have such support from a bunch of deluded nutters.

Seems like I'll be going to England for this one. The only other Arsenal match I've been to was at Stamford Bridge, lost 2-0. We'll definitely win this one, though.

I don't agree with this.

Monday night football?

No trains back from manchester so its is either 1/10 chance of getting the train or getting back at 4am on the coach. Modern football has fucked the mathc going fan in the face yet again. The FA cup is about fans and getting big away allocations, what is the point when the BBC make the united match move to televise it for the general non-fan audience?

Unless they are going to put on proper football specials to ferry fans around this exploitation is just going to weaken the game even more.

It is a double edged sword; on the one hand tv money has given English teams a massive advantage compared to the rest of the world, but on the other hand broadcasters set more and more of the rules. That's why we get situations like this one. The game has become more and more geared towards people watching at home at the expense of match going fans. Clubs can't complain too much either since tv revenue gives more money than admission fees at the turnstiles for most clubs in England now. Unsurprisingly, Wenger didn't complain at all in his presser today about the game being scheduled for a Monday.

Slim women are not hard to find 😆

14 days later

Bradford v Reading playing on a field freshly ploughed just prior to planting.

Bradford don't do their own team justie with that kinda pitch. 0-0 it turns out to be.

Meanwhile, Villa go thru after a pitch invasion. Fabian Delph scored and got a love bite for his troubles.

Tim Sherwood.

I can't tell if I hate this guy or like him.

He is entertaining in some ways.

Whatever he is, it's a vast improvement on that boring, depressed Paul Lambert.

No wonder Villa were doing so poorly .

Very important for managers to be engaging and full of energy.

Liverpool are not playing great against Blackburn, would be great if the latter can sneak a win. Liverpool would be desperate to avoid a replay I'd imagine.

If it does go to a replay, scheduling's going to be a nightmare for Liverpool. They've got a league game next Monday. They'll get less than 48 hours gap between that and a Wednesday replay, and then they play Man Utd on Sunday. Man Utd have a similar problem but less extreme. We absolutely have to bring Man Utd for a replay - convinced they'll roll over for us in order to beat Liverpool.

Would our replay with United not be played a week later, seeing as we have Monaco on the Tuesday?
