He did similar to what Van Persie did when he moved to Chelsea from Liverpool. Hard to feel sorry for the guy. The move from Atletico in 2007 he had to make though. Atletico had a better player after he left after all. Aguero. Wish we signed him. He went for a very similar fee to Cesc in the same summer.

Torres scores his first goal since his return to Atletico against none other than Real Madrid. Real need to score 4 goals to go through since Atletico won 2-0 in the home leg.

Shame the vine shows only the finish and not the whole counter as it was quick and deadly. Griezmann owning Pepe made it even better.

Yeah 'just' the three. The way the game is going so far with relentless pressure from Real its not impossible but you have to wonder for how long they can keep it up. On another note Bale gets booed by Real fans in this game because he didn't pass to Cristiano in one instance in the previous one, even though he played well and scored a free kick 😆

Bale has been pretty bad this season, they do not boo just because of that situation. He did the exact same thing in the match before too, when they lost to Valencia.

Also, Atletico really know how to play Real Madrid.

Torres with a 2nd. Atletico have played Real 4 times since the CL final, won 3 drawn 1 and leading at the Bernabeu as we speak. Insane record.

I don't pay close attention to Real so that could well be the case. You have to wonder though how bad he's been considering he has 8 goals and 3 assist in 14 league games and 12 and 4 in 19 matches total.

He'll probably be gone in the summer. It looks like Real have a deal with Reus in place already. Maybe United will pick up Bale for crazy money.

Yeah, his stats aren't bad at all. However, Real Madrid scores so many goals, so stats like that for a side like ours would be so much better. He hasn't been good. As Klaus says, I won't be surprised if Reus is there and Bale is not come summer.
