Great goal by Neymar. Amazing to watch a team that can actually play.

Super finish by neymar to open the clasico.

Feels strange watching a team that can string more than 3 passes together without overhitting or poor touches

Benzema hits the post twice within seconds. Cracking game so far.

The quality of football is breathtaking.

😆 Anything seems breathtaking after the shower of shite we just witnessed!

i thought i would be pleased to watch some quality football, it's just making me angry comparing it our regularly scheduled shit show. turning this off.

😆
You'll give yourself an ulcer.
Have a beer, relax, we won, enjoy the weekend

Sometimes I think yva is the only positive poster in this entire forum 😆

Oh, and Benzema is Welbeck on steroids.

Ancelotti would be my first choice to replace Wenger.

I'm not even all that positive 😆

There's plenty more, they're just not posting much these days.

I love Marcelo.

lucky you, your sporting weekend is over, mine started with arsenal. i got ucla next in a half hour. they'll probably concoct some way to lose to this shitty ass colorado team.

Ronaldo is being uncharacteristically unselfish this half.

Marcelo doing a Santi

Must be a big change for him now that he can't eat people.

well a drop off was expected, they lost some real quality. i'd like to see simeone operate with our wage bill and turnover which is more than 3x atletico's.

They're two points behind Barca and one behind Real. It's not as good as last season, but if that's shit.. Well, then there are no words to describe us.

😆 They are not shit!

they beat madrid too this season no? thats without costa

I certainly wouldn't hold us as favorites anyway. We are well capable of beating them though.

Not if we play like we've done so far this season.

24 days later

Messi just scored a hattrick to become La Liga's all time top goalscorer. At 27.

Yeah, but he is already 27. #notallthat

11 days later

Iago Aspas scored a four minute hattrick. Doesn't happen every day.

Turns out he wasn't shit then, just played for Liverpool.

Wonder if he got flogged off just for that?

He wasn't exactly pulling up trees before that...

In which goal?

Dang them two in Spain. Hat trick replied with a hat trick.

Unbelievable at times isn't it?!

Ronaldo is on an epic pace this season - 24 goals, and 12 assists...both tops in the league. Hear a lot of complaints that his goal stats are padded by penalties (true) but his assist tally is unreal too.

23 goals and 8 assists. Still really good. Though 7 penalties in the 13 games he's played is quite insane. Many of them are incorrect, the big teams in Spain get a lot of help.

When you pile on the pressure and your team is in the opposition penalty box, then you greatly improve your chances of winning penalties. The more situations you create for the ref to get wrong - the more likely you are of the ref, eventually, getting one of the situations wrong.

Part of why we are awarded so few penalties IMO; we play too much around the penalty box instead of looking to get into the box as often as possible.
