Absolutely. Only real Arsenal player left that I'm desperate to watch succeed. It's got nothing to do with him making an arse of himself off the pitch or singing arsenal songs. On the pitch he's always given a sense from 18 years old that he's a special talent and that he's desperate to become a great player for Arsenal. I want other Arsenal players to do well for us of course, but don't really care which other players do well as long as the club is competitive.Â
But if he isn't able to lose the bulk and become the skinny, skiddy, nippy footballer he was when he was 19, and if he isn't able to play at least 25 league games next season, Wenger should get rid. Whether the fans want it or not, it's responsible management.Â
