We need a backup striker for Giroud and he can also play with Giroud, so i wouldnt mind.

He'll have more of an impact then Bendtner - so in that regard our team would be improving. But certainly isn't good enough to push Giroud to the bench.

We are either getting him or making it difficult for Newcastle..

Tony Leen says we are finding it hard to agree wages with him and his agent is playing hardball.

Make sense given he was on very high wages at QPR.

I think Remy's good for 15-20 league goals, if we can't get any of Benzema, Falcao or Cavani then i'd rather get Remy than rely on Sanogo. He can be a Sturridge like player.

Mirror. i swear to god his agent must be directly paying John Cross, because that is the only source these shit stories about Remy usually come.

I'd take him. He can play LW and 9 properly.

not Cross, a Steve Bates.

anyway, it's either he has a release clause or he doesn't because QPR wanting 10m means diddly if he has one.

IF he comes, Sanchez is most certainly gonna play Central or Right. I had initially thought Sanchez is gonna play Left-Centre.

Unless he majorly plays as CF

2 months later

Clause activated. #Desperation

Probably his agent spreading lies to get more money out of Chelsea.

I really like him as a player and think he'd suit our system so well.

But so many on here slate him in kind of soured my view of him.

Let's see. He'll probs choose Chelsea

Thought he had signed for Chelsea. Could be agent bullshit.

Looks like there has been a bit of a twist on Loic Remy to #cfc...more on Telegraph Sport soon.

Been waiting for Telegraph to post story. Should be soon! Arsenal have also activated Remy clause at QPR. I'm told he still goes to Chelsea.

Hope he's right and he still ends up at Chelsea.

I'd take Remy now. Always felt he was an option for the end of the window if/when other avenues failed to ignite. He's a good premiership striker.

Captain, ask the masses this question: Sanogo or Remy?
