Remy, obviously.
Loic Remy in the back of the van
I would definitely take him, if he can score 10-15 goals he would be worth the money. Only issue is his high wages, might be difficult to get rid of him if we end up looking at someone else in the next transfer window.
Remy is better than any of the strikers we currently have (not really counting Sanchez as a striker). Would be silly NOT to get a guy so good for so cheap.
I would take Remy, considering that until Giroud is back we don't actually have any strikers (not counting Sanchez as a striker either) it would certainly be nice to have somebody in that position.
Apparently we haven't even bid for him.

Actually makes more sense than us bidding for him. Lets face it Wenger is never going to go against Chelsea for a player, plus Wenger seems pretty adamant that he doesn't need a striker.
Definitely don't want.
Remy is a pretty good player, but apart from us being desperate for a striker while Giroud is out, I don't see to many upsides to signing him. If we sign no-one, I can understand the flak should we fail because of our lack of genuine options, but we need to go for the right player rather than just someone who happens to be available for a low fee.
Not sure how he would work in our system. Wasn't that great at QPR, though that may be explained by their situation at the time. His spell at Newcastle was a lot better, but not enough to sway me that he is better than Giroud. He would bring more pace to the team, but not sure how involved in our play he would be and whether he would thrive with the type of service we provide. Sanchez may be short, but he is just as quick and with better ball control, but our attack was set up in a way that did not get the most out of him in the couple of games he has been used upfront so far. Would it be any different with Remy? Possibly now that we have to plan without Giroud, but not sure if we should be going for a very different type of striker just because he is available for a low transfer fee. Walcott could probably do a similar job and Joel Campbell could even make a similar impact, so I would rather a much better striker in the Cavani mould. Giroud and Remy are nowhere near the class of the strikers at the top clubs and that could be the difference between us pushing on from our usual 3rd to 4th place battle.
Low fee, but apparently after high wages. If he is not an unqualified success, we will find it difficult to offload either him or Giroud should their best not be good enough. Also both will be fighting for one spot in the team and are unlikely to play alongside each other at any point. Again, he might even be behind Alexis in the pecking order so he could be a very costly 3rd choice.
Fitness wise, we don't what made Remy fail his Liverpool medical. It may be something that is exacerbated with our questionable fitness record.

#AFC have dropped Remy interest. Enquired but no longer pursuing. Currently not close to any signings before deadline #QPR #CFC #bbcfootball
That's that. Some of you guys got your wish.
We wont be signing anyone.
Ridiculous.
Ornstein contradicted himself.
First this:
"Arsenal not in for Falcao or any other CFs. #AFC plan to go with existing options but may get CB/DMF before deadline"
Then this:
"#AFC haven't met Remy release clause but are in conversations with #QPR about rivalling #CFC for him - IF they let a forward go #bbcfootball"
He'll leave us short again won't he?

Pathetic
ornstein ran with the benz/di maria story this time last year so he's not infalliable. he'll just tweet when we're in advanced negotiations, or whatever the club wants him to say. still think we'll get at least 1 signing
Awful way to do business. It's not as if any big transfers are holding anything up.
Bet Campbell isn't sold now. Him and Podolski are the new Bendtner and Park.
I would've taken him if it meant Sanchez and Walcott on the flanks.

It's ridiculous to compare Podolski with either of those 2.

Kept at the club just to make up numbers, even though he doesn't have the manager's faith or feature in his plans for the team.

#AFC had no plans to sign striker. Then seemed 1 may go so asked about Remy as replacement. But now staying so interest dropped & as we were
Interesting. Must be Podolski.
Initally I thought we were just trying to prevent Chelsea from getting him. Disappointing that we are not going to sign a striker. Can only hope for a Campbell miracle.
What is more shocking is the fact we ain't in for anyone yet, not even close.
Veysey kept getting exposed by Ornstein, how is he still in the job?
