With the money being touted around DMs etc for us at this moment I'd rather we jsut went all out and got a decent keeper like begovic and spanked a load of attacking players who are likely to score. We will never solve our problems with DM and that is that until Arsene fuck off, what we need is a decent to come for the ball and make saves without clamming up like that clown szezney.

Mash in offers for Lamela, Reus, Lewandoski, Draxler, Sanchez, El shaawary, Hernanes, Llajic etc and get Begovic in and at least we might see some goals to keep us entertained.

I gather we can add one player to that list, if registered by midnight tomorrow

For the second leg only?

For both legs. Not 100% sure about this, however

Another average to somewhat good player. So much for challenging for trophies

we can do better than this guy, but with Diaby, Arteta and Chamberlain out for a while, and Ramsey currently injured, we can absorb both Cabaye and (e.g.) Bender

What I've maintained for a long time now. Top class upgrades on Giroud and Podolski should be the first priority. Then buy a couple of squaddies to make up the numbers.

Given how badly we tend to fall apart without Arteta, I don't think that's much of a criticism.

He might not be a Vieira but he'd make our CM options look a lot more solid and he wouldn't stop us signing a top CF.

Not saying he is a bad player just saying as a club who has been in the Top 4 for so long and sitting on so much money we should be aiming for higher rather than consolidating our position. If our club hasn't got an appetite to spend big than I suppose he is better than nothing. Well depends on what Newcastle are willing to let him go for.

Why didn't we sign Gustavo again?

How do we fare against Villa with Gustavo and Higuain on the books?

neg·li·gence
/ˈnegləjəns/

Noun

Failure to take proper care in doing something: "lack of any transfers is due to negligence".

Failure to use reasonable care, resulting in damage or injury to another.

Synonyms
neglect - carelessness - inadvertence - inadvertency

When I saw that we had made a bid on the beeb's website, my first impression was along the lines of "this was clearly leaked by the club in an attempt to appease the fans." The £10m figure pretty much confirms this, as in this market it's unlikely that Newcastle will let him go for anywhere near that mark.

The 'bid to appease the fans' theory is the biggest load of crap I've heard in a long time.

You must have missed the Park signing then?

That's a signing for reasons we know not, not a bid to appease the fans...

I'd rate it as the biggest load of crap I've heard though.

I was angry, but now i know we've made a low bid for a decent player i am appeased. Gooooooooo Arsenal!!

Did you renew your season ticket?

We don't end up with Szczesny left 1 on 1 so often for starters.
