We are embarrassing
Yohan Cabaye

He's obviously not a first choice target, which tells you we've entered panic buy mode.
I don't think £10m is derisory for Cabaye at all, as an opening offer. A smidgen low, perhaps, but I don't think he's worth much more than £15m anyway, so it's a fair opening gambit.
The fact we've gone back immediately suggests we're desperate to get this done in time for Fenerbahce.

Indeed, similar to Arteta. Someone to consolidate our 4th place position rather than someone to push us higher up the league table
Given how badly we tend to fall apart without Arteta, I don't think that's much of a criticism.
He might not be a Vieira but he'd make our CM options look a lot more solid and he wouldn't stop us signing a top CF.
On that note, where's Klaus? Klaus, get in here!
I think we will seal a deal for him tonight

Ok so why didn't we know that our first choices were gone before the start of the season let alone pre-season? Even our last options should have been outed by the end of July, this is just criminal pin-the-tail-on the transfer target time (Yet again).

Arsenal have made an improved offer of £11,000,000 for Yohan Cabaye. Rejected by Newcastle once again.
Im calling bullshit now.

Apart from Yaya who else in the league is top quality in central (non-attacking) midfield?
I reckon he's an Arsenal player by tomorrow.

Yep would have been 10 million and one pound
Sandro and Dembele are both top player Dembele especially, Arteta is also a quality defender now at least in his ability to cover gaps a distribute. Lucas Leiva will also be a top player defensively this year for liverpool as he was on top of it before that major injury.
Yaya also isn't strictly a defensive guy is he?

We can't. We submitted our UCL squad last monday.
This is embarrassing. How can we be quite so amateur? Take ages to bid for a second tier player, then don't even bid anywhere near his valuation.
And we do this all in the public eye.
Well done you bunch of cluster cunts.
By the way, why didn't we fucking go for Dembele last year, or even Paulinho this year? 17m was a fucking bargain for him.
Not a huge fan of Paulinho. I think we can better even this late in the window. Dembele is class. Sandro too. Tottenham have a decent midfield.

Yes, the list was submitted last Monday,
according to Wenger even if you go to the Eiffel tower and throw the money away you play with the players you have.
Big time panic now, makes me wonder what's going on with Arteta.

Sold Song and didn't replace with Dembele. Absolute shocker as he is by far the better player and would sold our diaby-like player requirement.
Another stupid move that will mean we pay in the long run.

I gather we can add one player to that list, if registered by midnight tomorrow

For the second leg only?
