Batman & Robin was clearly the worst (by a long shot) of the recent Batman franchise movies..

Something's Gotta Give is the last one I can remember walking out of.

My penis went into hiding for a month after I saw that film. It's a crime against humanity, that's what it is. Everyone involved in the production should be sentenced to death and all the props should be burned so future generations can't be subjected to its lurking horror. It's a movie of pure evil.

What self respecting man would actually watch that anyway? 😃

Maybe I'm a bit old fashioned but rom-coms are still a big no no, especially when it involves OAPs. Aand no, I'm not having the 'gf dragged me to watch it' excuse either.

Watched the 51st State, really bad. Would expect better from Samual L Jackson and Robert Carlyle.

Samuel L Jackson is just making movies for money now. This is not the same Sam from Pulp Fiction. Movies like 51st State, Snakes on a Plane, Black Snake Moan etc, are the work of a man trying to make enough to pay the bills.

Much like Nick Cage - that guy either makes brilliant or terrible films. Intrigued by his latest one, because the plot line is something I'm vaguely interested in, but you just know it's going to be a Razzie-winner.

Cage tanked after National Treasure.. (that is probably more liked by Americans than anyone else).. i liked that movie, but he's done some real stinkers since then

I dunno, Kick-Ass was quality, and Bad Lieutenant is supposed to be brilliant, so I guess he was kind of bouncing back in the last year or two. Lord of War was more than decent as well.

Wouldn't say Bad Lieutenant was brilliant. But it was certainly extremely enjoyable. And Cage was excellent.

Nick Cage was brilliant in Kick-Ass.

The 25 minutes that I managed to watch of Batman and Robin were easily the worst I've ever seen in a cinema.
Loads of people walked out.
It was so bad it was funny for about 5 minutes and after that it was just unbearable.

Shocking film. Probably the worst film I've seen in the cinema- though Pirates 2 and Moulin Rouge come close. Still, having paid my money, I didn't walk out. Don't really get the love for Batman Begins, but thought The Dark Knight was fantastic. I didn't think Vanilla Sky was that bad either, tho clearly nowhere near as good as the original.

The original Bad Lieutenant is quality.

some top notch filmage for yous lot:-

red scorpion
total recall
go
the adventures of a taxi driver
hellraiser

Watched Machete last night and it was fucking hilarious. It's a great, tongue in cheek exploitation film / homage. Maybe not quite as full on as it could've been but very amusing and not too hammy to work.

Also saw The Town which was, frankly, rather mediocre. I'm not sure if Ben Affleck will ever make a really good film as either director or actor.

I thought Machete was shite. I usually like absurd comedies, but this was pretty tiresome to watch.

Speaking of comedies, I recently watched "Coming to America" again. I've seen it about a dozen times, but it still cracks me up. Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall at their finest.

Nah, I liked Machete. The end was a bit tedious, but I enjoyed the whole thing pretty much.

I think I've just seen Coming to America too many times, but I no longer find it funny ...

Trading Places. second only to Beverly Hills Cop as Eddie Murphy's finest work.

And Jamie Lee Curtis gets her norks out, which is interesting from an anthropolohical perspective, if nothing else.

If norks are your thing, don't go past Machete. Plenty of gratuitous nudity.

Does Alba get her kit off in Machete?

Watched The Fighter last night. Brilliant film, would recommend it to anyone who likes a good sports film or anyone who just likes good drama.
