True Grit looks really good, Tony. Got a new appreciation for Jeff Bridges after watching a few of his films lately. He's bloody awesome in Crazy Heart. The Fighter looks brilliant, and it's got Christian Bale in it, which is an almost instant winner for me. Love nearly all his films. Conviction looks an interesting story, too, especially as it's about something that actually happened. Hilary Swank's a great actress, too.
Hereafter with Matt Damon looks like it could be a great watch as well. So does The Way Back, which has got some good reviews. Also like the look of 127 Hours, although not overly keen on Danny Boyle. Lots of good films out right now. I went and caught The Next Three Days and Season of the Witch, the other day. Loved the Next Three Days, Russell Crowe was brilliant, and it was a great watch from start to finish. Would highly recommend. Season of the Witch is not my cup of tea really, but got roped into it, it wasn't bad really, Nic Cage was pretty good, as was Ron Perlman, but it was a little boring for me, and a little silly.
Has anyone seen Gulliver's Travels - is it worth going to see?
