I don't mind, we were never signing him anyway and I'm glad that he hasn't gone to an english club.
Kroos is getting a bit shafted here, I presume that Gotze will take his place?

Dortmund have announced it.

Who knows? New manager, new style. I imagine the immediate loser is Robben.
Right, I'll give it a couple of hours for everyone to have a weep, snark, chortle, or whinge then lock this.
Just goes to show that everyone has their price.
Gotze to Dortmund hotline

Ted dibiase was right!
Wonder if that means Bayern will sell someone
Lewandowski next, in all likelihood. It's like the vanprsie sale to united plus fabregas; jeez.

Robben, shaqiri and gomez look the most likely from those close to the first eleven. Hard to say because of the Guardiola factor.
I can see Robben leaving. Hopefully we go for Shaqiri though, great player and a proper winger.
Haha, jokes on them, I never thought we were going to sign him.
I wonder how Dortmund fans feel.
If the speculated wage is true, then fuck me. We're talking Man City money.
It's going to ruin the competitiveness of the league.
Can't imagine Klopp will want to stay beyond his current contract. I'd be tearing my hair out.
It's a normal experience for most managers. You dust yourself off and get on with the job or throw your toys like a little bitch; makes no difference really.
The bundesliga will never be a great league cos Bayern are too big.
But why announce this deal now? Could effect Champions League.

Nobody's going to moan. We all knew this was never happening.
Had a feeling Robben would be shown the door....this pretty much confirms it. Bayerns midfield is now disgustingly good. I think Pep will play Gotze Kroos Ribery initially but Muller seems the type of guy who will fight his way into the team eventually so i'd expect Gotze at 10 and Muller on the right. Maybe Kroos could put pressure on Schweinsteigers position.
RIP the Bundesliga.
Yeah, would be interesting if Dortmund and Bayern square off.
FC Bayern Munich confirms that the club has agreed terms with 20-year-old Germany international Mario Götze for the player to join FC Bayern on 1 July 2013. FC Bayern is prepared to activate the contractual release clause agreed between Borussia Dortmund and Mario Götze.
Out of consideration for the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg between Dortmund and Real Madrid on Wednesday 24 April, FC Bayern had intended to wait until after the match before communicating this to BVB.
Even though he has the release clause, doesn't that count as admitting to an illegal negotiation?
Captain wrote:Clrnc, you keep saying that but it didn't happen.
I saw the link from A-M few weeks ago, will try to find it again.
Isn't release clause supposed to work differently? Considering Dortmund said they have been informed few days ago that Gotze wants to talk to Bayern and move away, it definitely isn't illegal. Remember one of the Dortmund directors said we bid 35m last year? But Gotze didn't want to move to us because he wants to stay at Dortmund for a few years more. What rubbish, now he jumped at the chance to Bayern. He clearly was waiting for a bigger pond.
I think its quite a cuntish move. He is a Dortmund boy since 2001, and has been there for a long time. He should be Dortmund through and through, and that the team is doing well in europe so far and can only get bigger. They just completed one of the most dramatic UCL quarters ever and should be very united as a team no? Yet he chose this time to announce and move to their biggest rivals.
