Would have him back in a second. He's one of the top 5 players in the world for me. His performances for us dipped at the end which was disappointing but I can hardly blame him for wanting to go home, to his first club who happen to be arguably the best side ever, sweeping all before them. Those comparing him to Ashley Cole need to have a word with themselves.

I just don't see how anyone can have so much hate for Cesc considering what a certain Dutch striker did in the Summer. Now THERE'S a cunt for you.

It's nothing to do with wanting to return to his boyhood club though is it? That's all fair enough. It's more the not telling his mates to shut up with all their DNA and all that nonsense for years, allowing all that to happen, allowing Barcelona shirts to be "forced" over his head, and eventually going on strike to engineer a move and refusing to go on the open transfer market.

If he'd simply handed in a transfer request and been sold on the open market then good luck to him.

Not in itself, it's the way he went about it. The guy went on strike and threatened to buy out his contract FFS. Say he did play for us again, what happens when Real Madrid come calling after 5 good games and he fancies another crack at La Liga? What did someone like Gallas do that was so much worse? Deserves to be talked about in the same breath as Cashley, Gallas and Adebayor. And the club is all the better without them.

Well, not really - if it was that simple, you'd surely be happy to see the best players possible come in?

No not really interested in "names" Asa, if players come and give their best and don't disgrace the shirt I'm fine with them.
Take Carzorla for example- I didn't know that much about him as like many I don't watch la Liga, I thought it was a pathetic attempt by Wenger to re-Fabregasise us, but of course he's a different player- as they all are- and I'm happy with him so far.
My favourite player is Arteta atm but I'm fast warming to Podolski, not huge names in world football but they're here and they're ours.
Anyone who pines over the likes of Fabregas or Van Persie does our present players a disservice.
