What a mong.
Gervais Lombe Yao Kouassi
Why is he a mong?
Patters probably reckons that's not going in.
I like the idea that he's just set apart on his own in training and spends hours practising kicking a ball Into an empty net from 3 yards. Time well spent, if Saturday is anything to go by!
Indeed, he made no mistake with that tap in, it was put away ruthlessly!
I like how Chamakh's facing away from goal even during training.
He's thinking- err does this involve me?

The other players took his ball away so he's off home.
You guyz!
221 goals to go.

hah it does look like he's about to put it wide
still not convinced he's a good finisher, and i'd agree with asa that he'd be the last guy to take a penner for me until it's down to him and mertesacker, and i'd probably go with the german just because he's german. i just don't think he has the skill and composure that someone like ljungberg did, who i consider a good example of a good finisher.
but i obviously welcome the goals and hope he continues to score and prove me wrong.
Adebayor was not a good finisher either, but constantly getting himself in good positions got hit goals.
I don't mind if gervinho scores 3 yards tap ins for the rest of his career, aslong as he can do it consistently.
Like a big fat melon on fire. Told you guys.

Gervinho would probably get into twice as many goal scoring position as others though..
He probably never will be a great finisher but his movement creates havoc & this team is all about pulling the opposition out of position. Its creating space for everyone else aswell, he needs to keep improving on his finishing but I like what I have seen so far
He's looking good. Looks like he's got his confidence back.
He's looking about as good as he did when we signed him. I wonder what hope there is of his level surviving the ACN this season.
Well have Jovetic by then
I'd be happy enough if this level survived until the ACN, let alone beyond it.
Might have missed the explanation but is it known what that weird salute celebration is about? He's done it twice now and it's the same thing Van Persie did against Chelsea last season.
