Bullshit, in my opinion.
Nuri Sahin
Seems unlikely to be accurate anyway? 60k is certainly not out of the question for an Arsenal player at around his level.

I believe it, why should we pay all his wages we are doing them a favour
It's the other way around to be honest. They're doing us a favour just by loaning him to us (if that is what's happening). They could put him on the market instead and have practically every other European top club competing for his signature.
Mmm.
But if it was just about us doing them a favour, we wouldn't be doing it, right?
I'm sure we inevitably negotiate 'hard' on wages in this situation, but it's hard to believe we'd let a single year of 60k wages torpedo a loan deal if we were actually interested.
The truth of the matter is that we are not that desperate to have him he's nothing more opportunist loan to have a very good midfielder for a year. If we really wanted him we would have insist buy on clause at the end of the season or try to buy him outright.
Lets face it he's nothing more than a stop gap until Jack is healthy and Aaron return from the Olympics in August.
The truth of the matter is that even an "opportunist" loan of a very good midfielder has a market value.
Anyway, there is a lot of shit flying around about this transfer. Whether it's to us, Spurs, United, or even Bayern, whether it's a loan or a sale or part-payment for Modric, what the hold-ups may be etc etc.
Press pass on espn implied it didn't happen because we wanted a more permanent arrangement (probably like the Baptista loan). Honigstein seemed to think it will still happen.
If they sign Modric I'm sure they'd be more open to a more permanent arrangement. We just have to bide our time. Loosing out on him on loan is no biggie but if there is a chance to sign him on at the end of the loan period or even right now then it would be worth going all in.
With Modric coming in, why would they even want to loan him out? Surely they'd be looking to sell.
Kaka is also on his way out
Alonso can't have much longer left at the top level. Sahin out on loan for a season to regain his fitness completely and then back to compete next season makes sense in that frame.
sahin doesn't have much of a future at real madrid with mourinho in charge.
Some here are underestimating Sahin. He was PotY in Bundesliga, a season of injuries and unfair treatment by Mourinho doesn't change that. Would be our best player, second only to van Persie.

I didn't know you have a crystal ball to see into the future
Times reporting Milan also want him on loan.

And why would I need that to say something?
Would you say that if I said "Cristiano Ronaldo would be awesome for us"? Because I can't possibly predict anything like that without a crystal ball. Oh, and drop the part where you say that I compare Sahin to Ronaldo, cause I don't.

You're the one who's pretending to know the details of a deal that hasn't even been struck yet.
He was injured for a year, when he returned from injury Mourinho didn't even play him. He's going to need a run of game to get back to his best and we know Arsene won't do that we already have Diaby for that role. Plus he's moving to a different league.
Oh, and I am not doubting is quality so please do not use that against me
