I can't believe we're looking likely to get Sahin. What a bloody signing he'd be.
Nuri Sahin
Almost a year without football though. But still, a very viable alternative to Arteta is always welcome.
On the upside it's not because of an ACL or some other kind of complicated injury. Looking forward to having a few more real midfielders to pick and choose from next season too.
I still don't believe this, but this would easily be the biggest signing we've made.
EDIT: Ah damn, should have kept reading. Only a loan? Balls.
Mourinho: "Last season Sahin didn't get the minutes he needed. If an interesting option to play elsewhere arrives, he can leave."
If we get Cazorla and Sahin, we should just keep RvP here. We'd have an immense squad for this season. Maybe even win something before both Sahin and RvP leave.
Arsène Wenger: "we did not sign anybody today, this report is wrong. We are not signing anybody at the moment - we are not close. In the future, you never know."
Ah the future , wonder which signing will be confirmed first then, Sahin or Cazorla?
What's going on with us this summer?
Realistically linked to players known to be decent, bordering on excellent even.
Is Wenger actually planning on building some security into our squad?
For various reasons not banking on the availability of Wilshere, Rosicky, Diaby or Ramsey?
That would be some departure from his normal ways.
His chats with the press over the last week seem to be clearing signalling that he's not finished buying yet.
Sahin's going to West Ham.
I thought that was Carroll !
Tottnam is his more likely destination.
Why? No CL, and if Real Madrid really have made him available I imagine there would be no shortage of takers amongst the bigger clubs. I wonder why United haven't been linked yet, given their CM shortage.
He's a superior version of Arteta. Think we need a clear out in central midfield first. In an ideal world we would sell Diaby, put Ramsey on loan and bring in Sahin and Cazorla.

Link him back up with Kagawa too.
Sid Lowe reckons we are close to signing both Cazorla and Sahin.
The darts guy?
Just finished watching the press conference in Hong Kong, Wenger said something along the lines of "we hope Jack Wilshere will play from October".
Fingers crossed we'll succeed in bringing both Cazorla and Sahin in.

I'm guessing start of the year then!
Apparently the deal is falling apart because Arsenal are refusing to pay all of his wages. Sahin is reported to be on 61k a week.
