He surely can't be as bad as Chamakh and he seems better than Gervinho.

I've probably said it 100 times but I am ridiculously curious about what the deal is with Park.
Completely mystifies me.
People were saying during the season that he wasn't played because he was obviously rubbish, which is clearly not the case.
I know Chamakh is only a barometer for how bad a striker can be but Park is easily better than him.

I don't even think it's about ability, even Amaury Bischoff got more chances in the first team! Fucking weird.
That goal shows how much ability he have. Superb movement with 4 Japanese defenders around him
Forgot the final was on today, missed the first half.
1-0 to Mexico
Seeing as the BBC half time analysis is being provided by the twins of idiocy Bright and Savage all I've got is this stat:
Brazil minus Hulk first 32 mins - 2 shots.
Brazil in the last 13 mins with Hulk - 6 shots
Gawd and they have Garth Crooks at Wembley
Savage is upset that bellamy didn't make it into Crooks' team of the tournament as he said Craig "captulated" the spirit of the British team.
Ooo some flashy stuff from Neymar
Is it true that Park was dropped in the semis vs Brazil?
Goal disallowed for Mexico. Brazil look awful.
@ GM Yep, think he came on as a sub though.
2-0 Mexico!
Jeez.
Fifteen minutes for Brazil to redeem themselves.
They don't deserve to win this though.
Oscar misses a sitter to equalise it in the 93rd minute! Perfect.
Hope he does that regularly for Chelsea.
Kudos to Mexico.
Rafael what a plank
Mexico done it! 2-1. Congratulations to them. Football in Mexico has come a long way in the last decade.

The kid is so retarded isn't he? The worst player in a Brazil shirt by far!

I don't think he'll get many opportunities at Chelsea. He's an Arteta, Alonso type player IMO. Controls the pace and tempo of the game quietly from deep in the midfield. Chelsea doesn't seem to play that type of football.

Apparently the whole South Korean team has been relieved from the compulsory military service thing due to their bronze medal winning heroics against Japan. If this was the issue Wenger had with Park then maybe we get to see him a bit more this season. He does look like a useful player really. Like a new signing and all that.
Wenger just doesn't play him though. I really would like to know why. Looks twice the player Chamakh is.
Mexico deserved the gold medal. Mexico always gets fantastic results in youth tourneys, but flopped every world cup. They just choke at the biggest stage. If you ignore that, they have fantastic talents all round. One of the most talented footballing nation. Just weird their players don't like playing in Europe.

Could be disastrous for him.
Di Matteo rode his luck in hitting the management scene right at a time when the likes of Terry, Cole, Lampard and Drogba were on a mission to prove AVB had been wrong.
Can't imagine that Di Matteo will be up to getting the best out of this new and younger squad.
