He's been absolutely awful this season. Doesn't matter in which position he's been deployed. He's been poor in every single one of them.

Szczesny, Sagna and Verms were just as bad. Ramsey deserves the respect of a preseason and then to be assessed by Wenger.

Maybe another loan will be the best for him, he is clearly not good enough for this level of football. And we seem to play worse with him on the pitch.

I thought he had a decent game and done nothing short of what wilshere would have offered but his defensive display was awful but the same could be said for a few, the problem is we should have ready made players playing in central midfield, players like arteta.

I agree with this. Get in someone like M'Vila to rotate with Arteta and Song and we'd solve alot of problems.

Maybe it's a coincidence, but Speed did die in November. Might have had a big effect on him, who knows?

That's looking at it a bit too simplistically. He's not looked right for a while, not the player we saw in pre-season and not the player we saw for the first couple of months of the season.

So Gary Speeds death is the new excuse for Ramsey? Well at least it makes a change from hearing about a leg he broke 2 and half years ago. In all seriousness he was never really that good to begin with. He'll replace Denilson as our new mediocre midfielder who keeps getting games.

was just going say he was pretty medioce prior to november as well. just like he wasn't that good against united last season, and never showed as much potential as wilshere prior to getting shawcrossed. he may be a solid pro in the edu/petit/arteta mould one day, but world beater? not sure about that.

it cant be hard to admit that maybe it was "too early" ™

the "one of the best young midfiders in europe" hype train needs to quit. thiago, gotze, mvila, wilshere are all of similar age and all clearly a cut above.

before anyone goes there, yes, rambo isnt the teams biggest problem. but the ramsey bashers wouldnt be so vociferous if the hyping of his potential by his backers wasnt so ludicrously ott
