No one here has backed Ramsey for months! The kindest thing anyone's said is that Ramsey might come good if he's taken out of the firing line for a while.
And it's a pretty lame argument if people bash a player only to someone how counter act the perceived support he receives. What happened to calling it as you see it?
people who have done that with ramsey have been either criticsed for judging him too early or fed fairly lame excuses in his defense.
So the logical response is to make him a scapegoat?
He's been dropped from the first team since February and everyone's well aware that he's been in poor form and I would argue that he's definitely better than what we've seen recently but he's not even going to be near the first team with Wilshere, Rosicky, Arteta and Song available next year. More to the point, he's not cost the team more points than other players during this lean run we've had but the vitriol is still skewed. I understood it when he was starting week in, week out but now...?
Suggesting that a broken leg has set back his development or that he's too young and will improve with time are as much an excuse as explanations. Maybe it won't happen, maybe he'll still be as shit next season but expecting him to get better is not that far fetched, surely?
And the reason I like Ramsey is that I feel he's got a good head on him.

I agree. Although he was pretty damn good at Stamford bridge in the 5-3, and had a few other good performances at the beginning too. He's just gone to pot since then, and I agree that some of that is to do with the shambles of a team he's playing in - been too much for him at this point of his career.
Was he MOTM against United this time last year?
