That is brutally blunt...but rather funny.
I still maintain he was pretty good for a 5th choice CB and I didn't have nearly so many hang-ups with him playing as others did (eg. Asa) but I was certainly incorrect when I thought he could LB, where he was really awful.
That the guy who was at the AGM?
haha yea, that season ticketholder has done pretty well for himself since then.
i still cant believe silvestre was an arsenal player. maybe in 10 yrs, i'll have repressed the memory.

It's not really about ability Don, we can accept a totally useless player so long as he tries eg Eboue.
But Silvestre was a very prominent member of the Utd side that we battled with in the early 00's, battled being the right word we all know that he cracked Freddies head open, if Wenger wanted an old slow useless crock to sit on the bench he could have looked at me or at least someone who is not detestable to the vast majority of Gunners.
But oh, I forgot he's probably an old France buddy.
I'll never forgive Wenger for polluting our team with that potato headed freak.
He was an awful signing, United fans were delighted to get rid of him, he was completely finished already.
Possibly the worst signing Wenger had made, since it was clear from the start he was going to be shite...at least with other players {stepanovs etc} we didn't know until they started!
