Tevez is a much, much better player though. If a player is to cause problems, at least make sure he pays you back on the pitch. I can see that with Tevez, but not with Suarez.

I don't think there is a player that fills me with as much disgust as he does.

It will be good if he is driven out of this league by fans, no loss to the league.

I think he's a terrific symbol for Liverpool. Really embodies what they are all about as a club.

Few players have caused as much trouble for our back 4 as Suarez and Kuyt today though. Classless prick no doubt. 🙂

Vermaelen looks like he was to finish off the job in that picture.
Suarez the whiny little cheat cowering at his feet.

😆 They should have a wet paint sign beside that one.

He's not even an occasional cheater who goes to ground out of desperation, he begins every game by looking for a free kick or penalty and generally being a cunt.

Hope he gets the fuck out of this league.

Always the victim every time something doesn't go his way too. Like I said, perfect symbol for Liverpool.

You really just want to punch him in the face. Such a shame. Can´t help but to think he is a talented footballer. Very good protecting the ball isn´t he? He is a nightmare for players like Kos and TV who are always looking to intercept the pass. Lost count of how many times he just went past them. Pretty poor finisher though.

They're every bit as classless as Man Utd, if not more so. The only difference is their lack of success in the past 20 years.

I can't bear this despicable cunt.

Trust scousers to use their only black player to get a point across

Suarez is the sneakiest bastard on the planet. I will say though, I didn't see anything wrong with his dive yesterday. People always say you should take the contact, but I don't see why a professional player should wait to clattered by a charging goalkeeper.

From our perspective, we need to be a bit worried that for the 2nd time in a week our goalie has had to run out to tackle an opponent rather aggressively. His defense is at fault for putting him in that position, but he too needs to avoid rushing at these players. He's lucky to not have picked up cards in the process.

Cos he's their token black player.

Fair enough you want to win a penalty but then the way he rolled round on the floor like his leg just got cut off by a chainsaw was just taking the piss

That part he did because he's a cheat. I don't want to sound the racist, as it would be particularly ironic when commenting on Suarez, but it's something I've seen a bit of in South American leagues. Whenever I watch Argentine and especially Brazilian football, the number of people rolling around like they've been gored with a machete or bludgeoned with a mallet is amazing. It's part of the football culture. You just grow up seeing it as something to do. Or maybe the guys just have lower pain thresholds.

I will say though, in the 40th minute this guy reminded me of why I used to like him in his Holland days (when he wasn't assaulting opponents). The way he carved up our defense was reminiscent of the way Henry used to abuse the likes of Carragher. Just glided through a crowd but was failed by his final shot as he appeared a little off-balance. He's such a talented player, but damaged by his attitude and struck by the Liverpool striker's curse (following in the footsteps of Kuyt, Torres, Keane, Carroll)
