Sports Minister Hugh Robertson said: β€œWhat we want to see is whether we can do any more. The fact the Prime Minister wants to get involved with it himself means you’ve got the most powerful man in the country personally involved in finding a solution.”

Response to a failed handshake. Good job there aren't more pressing issues in Britain.

On MotD they analysed the handshake step by step, frame by frame. Inspiring stuff.

Suarez is scum. I think we all know that. But Liverpool's indignation at his actions on Saturday is a little disingenuous bearing in mind they created the climate for Suarez to do what he did. Or, not do what he should have done.

As for Evra's celebrations, although he- clearly- is a bit of a cunt, I don't blame him for doing that. I reckon I might have done the same. We all remember Martin Keown, right?

Err no, I zid not see ze incident Rock......

I want to know why the FA didn't diffuse the whole thing beforehand by dispensing with the handshakes anyway like they (strangely) sensibly did for Chelsea/QPR

I agree with Wenger when he refused to shake Hughes' hand, it has to be honest or else its just a pointless gesture, but anyway I'm loving all this theater. πŸ˜†

So Aussies write like Americans? Interesting.

THEATRE!

Most of us spell it theatre. Can't imagine what has happened to Biggsy there.

Does there have to be a fucking forum wide investigation every time my finger slips?

Who would you rather have on your team? Suarez or Tevez?

Tevez. If you are going to have a nut job you might as well have the one who is actually a quality footballer. πŸ™‚

Tevez.
He's on his way back to City today isn't he?

Suarez is commercial poison now, apparently Liverpools sponsors called up their owner and told him as much.
That was behind all this mania of apology.

Suarez will be moved on in the summer.

whichever can spell

I guess I'd take Tevez too. Saurez committed a scandalous hardball in a world cup quarterfinal, assaulted an opponent in Holland, racially abused Evra, and then misled his team on the way to disrespecting the fair-play pre-game handshake.
I cannot think of a single Tevez act that is as odious as any of the above.

I didn't mind the handball, it's cold blooded cheating but if it came down to it I would do the same to win Arsenal the CL.

Tevez pissed off Man City, no issue there for me πŸ˜‰

Suarez on the other hand, despicable little sod.

What about his face?

Well, they're both awful to manage, aren't they? And Suarez seems to have the more loathsome personality of the two.

However, from a football management perspective I'd go with Suarez. His personality issues will probably blow over in time, but Tevez will always be the type to go on strike until sold.
