Yea but your forgetting the chances City created. Man City should have put the game to bed long before we started creating. If Nasri played a simple square ball to ballotelli it would have killed the game.

Why Wenger took Walcott off when the game was as stretched as it was I'll never know. For the seriously out of form Arshavin too. If it was for Benayoun who offers something different, then I may have understood, but that decision really did baffle me.

What City have that we lack is a decent number of very good forwards. Aguero, Dzeko, Balotelli ... they'd all slot into our squad brilliantly in terms of ability and characteristics.

The rest of the side is nothing amazing but still solid.

A draw would have been fair, but they were slightly better than us. They missed one sitter when Nasri fucked up the simple square ball (which btw prompted Mancini to yell "Vaffanculo" - Italian for "this cunt cost me 25 million pounds").

I still think that even Jenkinson could have exploited the space out right. It's clear that Zabaleta was instructed not to come forward not to let Theo get in behind, leaving acres of space in front of him. Of course, if Theo had shown up it might have been enough.

At least the team fought til the end, which is at least good to see.

I usually don't make a habit out of watching City because I can't stand the fucking cunts but people have been talking about them this season like they're Barcelona or Real Madrid. Based on the games I've seen them in they're miles off. Today was no exception. We stood up against them with a stretched defence lacking two regular players and a midfield lacking our best playmaker. It's a disgrace that they're topping Premier League. How the fuck does Gareth Barry keep getting games? Useless fat bastard should have been sent off today too but Dowd has no bottle.

Anyway, the point is - sign a fucking forward Arséne. We can compete with these cunts without problem if we bring in that marquee player. Maybe not in terms of squad depth or wage bill but definitely as far as the quality of the starting eleven is concerned.

And Barry was very solid today and has done well this season. Not saying he's top class or anything, but he's a strong player ovberall.

The game was extremely tight, both sides had chances and IMO the whole thing was pretty much even throughout. Their goal came from us being a bit muddled after Djourou went off and the way the goal panned out itself was a little lucky, it was like the RVP shot in the first half just in their case they got a lucky rebound and we didn't. Again RVPs offside goal was marginal and could easily have been given. And the hand ball could easily have been given.

That game was tight as shit.

Well you'd expect Citeh to create some chances especially if we're sacrificing numbers forward to get a goal.

With better decision making, we could easily have gotten at least a point out of this, if not more. Nevertheless, I do feel that the better team won.

We need to overcome this blip and carry on midweek, and with the experience we now have in the squad, I'm confident we will.

Don't think it's surprising at all. They were outmanouvered by Napoli in both games and finished behind them as a consequence.

I already knew we were a good team going into this game. I just expected more from City. They're there for the taking.

Some people need to get real. They could have put 6 past us if their finishing was better. The game was not even at all. We had a few chances but they beat us deservedly.

it's not like we didn't have a fair amount of chances ourselves though. they had chances, but we had ours as well. if arshavin hits that pass even halfway better we go home with a point, for one.
