Positives from this game, Arteta, Gervinho, Vermaelen. And tbf Miquel was very good too, the whole defence bar DJ was quite solid.

We simply need more attacking quality. Very one dimensional at times

My theory is Chamberlain took a big steaming dump on Wengers desk and now Arsenes refusing to play him. I can't think of any other reason how he could still be behind Arshavin in the pecking order.

We really need a player that will relegate one of Theo or Gervinho to the bench. I've been saying it since the start of the season, any team with those two as your starting wide players is not good enough to finish Top 4.

We need two top class offensive players at least. The current bunch we have now can win against most teams but when we come up against good teams you can see how players like Theo and Gervinho are so inconsistent.

The biggest surprise to me was how fragile City looked in defence. We should have pressed better. We would have gotten a goal out of it, maybe two. They're nothing special. We'll win when we play them at home in the spring if we put in the same performance.

Would rather see AOC out there than Arshavin any day of the week. Arshavin has been a liability for some time now, but lately he's been worse than hopeless. Barely a player at this level is the nicest thing you can say.

Still, we took a 1-0 loss at what is probably the toughest assignment in the league at the moment. No shame. Just hope we can pick up and start earning points again straight away.

The teams effort was immense. On another day we'd have probably won.

goal we conceded was very soft too.

Our defense has so improved from the beginning of the season.
Practicing separately has paid off it seems.
AW's playing Santos will not be forgotten.
So disappointing when you don't have the weapons up front.
Gervinho played hard and put a bit of pressure on ManC, but Theo's play was about as poor as it gets.

Exactly, we created many chances and should have taken at least one of them. The two offside decisions against us could have gone the other way if the luck was on our side.

I usually don't make a habit out of watching City because I can't stand the fucking cunts but people have been talking about them this season like they're Barcelona or Real Madrid. Based on the games I've seen them in they're miles off. Today was no exception. We stood up against them with a stretched defence lacking two regular players and a midfield lacking our best playmaker. It's a disgrace that they're topping Premier League. How the fuck does Gareth Barry keep getting games? Useless fat bastard should have been sent off today too but Dowd has no bottle.

Anyway, the point is - sign a fucking forward Arséne. We can compete with these cunts without problem if we bring in that marquee player. Maybe not in terms of squad depth or wage bill but definitely as far as the quality of the starting eleven is concerned.

Far too much selfish play in the final third, and the times when they weren't selfish the passes were simply woeful. No further explanation needed, we had ample opportunity to at least take a point and didn't make it count.
