Probably still need another striker, not an expensive one. Just reliable for a goal every few games at least.

I'm okay with our midfield once Wilshere comes back and Ramsey should get another season before he's written off. Although maybe Diaby should finally be replaced.

I like Sturridge, but not sure we'd get as much out of him if we kept having to shift him across the front 3 - which is realistically what would happen

I am okay with both. Both good enough for us as 2nd choice to Spurs and also good option to have outwide.

He's scored 15 goals in 18 games for a team struggling against relegation. None of the other players we've been linked with have any where near those numbers, including those that play in Germany.

Podolski is also a nailed on starter for one of the best national teams in the world. A national team btw that plays the kind of football we should be trying to play. He would be a great addition for us I think.

He has never been like that for Germany. Has an excellent strike rate for the national team. Funny enough, this season is his worst from a national team perspective.

Capi, what do you have against Podolski though? He is entering his prime, can play the kind of football we play when we are at our best, scores regularly, is quite versatile, will most probably be available in the summer at a fee and for wages that should be manageable by us.
