Yeah, belief can be a double edged sword. If the Spurs' players believe they can win the title indeed, it can get some incredible performances out of them, but, the belief can kill all other desire if it takes a beating through a few unfavourable results that put them in their place.
We have been on the cusp a number of times in the last few seasons but unfortunately we have only ended up imploding that letting the belief carry us.
