We will still finish above them.

tbh spurs look a better football team. about as good as our 07/08 side. they will fuck up badly at some point, but iI think theyre currently nailed on for the top 4.

Good mate of mine from work and who is one of the crew I'm going to Vegas with in march is a spurs fan. Yesterday he posted silly things banging on about how great bale is on Facebook. So I deleted him lol

at least modric looks like he still wants out, by the sounds of his interview this week. adebayor is only on loan, harry could end up in cuffs/england manager, parker and friedel are stop gaps, and big clubs will be sniffing around bale. something will give in the next 6 months

Wish our board had shown as much resolve as Levy did last summer.

He's made for Barca 🙂

You made my eyes burn with that image Yva! Thanks GM for bringing this thread back on track.

In Bruges quote: "Purgatory's kind of like the in-betweeny one. You weren't really shit, but you weren't all that great either. Like Tottenham."

😆

LOL. I hope Barca turn up the charm offensive. Might be helpful to introduce a bit of instability into their set-up.

oh holiday fixtures how you make predictions look silly. st tots still a good possibility.

If we'd have beaten them at thir place as we should we'd be above them

Yeah you've rehabilitated yourself. 🙂

The more I look at Spurs games and their form, the more I think they are a legitimate title contender. They are beating teams they should be beating, multiple players are popping up and scoring goals. They have the best form among the top 3. This summer while we were mucking about, they added a good striker in Adebayor, a top keeper in Friedel and an energizer bunny midfielder and leader in Parker.

I suspect the key to how they can compete is how Redknapp keeps his head and resists Ferguon's mind games down the stretch.
Oh, by the way, Spurs' season is not a surprise. They have been working towards this for the last 3 or 4 years, while we've been working on destroying our team.

they are where we were 5 years ago. after all his bleating about rivals having bigger resources, wenger will look like a mug if spurs finish higher than 3rd

Indeed.
They still have to play all the top sides away and Utd at home, they'll lose heaps more 6 pointers.

oh and iI dont think 'arry would handle mind games too well. he seems to be hyper-sensitive to negative media scrutiny

😆 And with good reason too.

You like Spurs far too much Cali!

it's hard not to like any of the top 3. they've clearly separated themselves from the chasing pack. and when you watch them play, it's obvious that they are better, my friend.

(Cough) ahem (shuffles awkwardly).

Biggus, my man. This year is the sum of all fears. Chamakh, Spurs, Walcott, Squillaci, no Fabregas and Nasri replacements. It's really happening

The last 5 years have been the sum of all fears for me.....But one of Murphys laws say: It can always get worse. 🙁

I like the part where we all laugh at Tottenham.

Should just rename the thread "Let's all wank over Tottenham". It's disgraceful.

To be fair, I think a lot of it is folk mentally preparing for finishing below them.

Pissing wenger

Urgh, did not read that the first time.

Anyway.

Tottenham are the first Premier League team to concede 1000 goals in the competition.
