Lot's of twitter chatter about Spurs targetting big signings and willing to spend a lot this transfer window. Latest rumour has them targetting Benzema. Now, every logical way you try to look at it, there shouldn't be any way he would leave RM for freaking Spurs.

But I still liked it better when they had Harry in charge stockpiling old players. AVB targeting players like Vergonhen, Lloris, Moutinho and signing Ade means we really need AVB to turn out to be as incompetent as his Chelsea reign made him out to be. And hopefully now that Ade has signed, he'll turn into his lazy self as he usually does after securing himself some more money.

I'm not worried about Spurs.

They have this awful inferiority complex when it comes to us which means that every season,somehow,someway, they will find a way to finish below us.

It's what they do, I don't care who they sign, I just look on my calendar for when St.Totts will be and for what it's worth I think it will come a lot earlier this season.

To sum up

Spurs are shit and always will be.

I'm usually not worried about them. Last season I was never really that worried, while some were tearing their hair out in the Spurs thread. But on the eve of a new season, while our board is their usual incompetent selves, I have these flashes of fear.
