After slowly starting to appreciate all things Arsenal again over the last couple of months, the obvious lack of squad depth over Crimbo resulting in the loss to crappy Fulham and the depressing start to this transfer window has put me back in to an Arsenal funk.

Feels like the summer all over again.

Yep, all wenger seems to do is offer us excuses. Ref, tired players, economic conditions not favourable, we have players who need to be given a shot, financial doped clubs ruin it blah blah blah

I don't know, even if there is, is Suarez going to be a player who can rescue something from this season?

Six days into the transfer window and I've almost given up hope.
Why I had any in the first place I don't know.
Credited Wenger with actually recognising the state we're in but he doesn't.

Today he said

“We have a good spirit in the side,”
“The schedule was very tough for us and I feel as well we were really unlucky over the Christmas period. I cannot fault the players' attitude or spirit and that's why I'm still optimistic and I think in the end the quality of that spirit will come through.

I don't fault the players effort - but he's demented if he thinks their spirit alone will carry us through.

I think we are greater than the sum of our parts, but that just goes to show how we are lacking

He claims we've made a bid of about 10 million euros, Suarez desperately wants the move but Anderlecht have offers for a lot of their players and can't sell them all.

While I'm happy at the idea that we're actually trying to sign players, I have not forgotten what Arsenal love to do to fans during a transfer window. 😐

Give fans some hope that we want to make signings and have the money to do so.
See the club linked with an endless list of players while simultaneously watching rivals actually make signings.
More links, and "if we find an oppurtunity, we will do it"
Get closer to the end of the window, with no new players and fans start wishing for any signing.

Most things arsenal make me angry at the mo bar the thought of wilshere returning, the ox being unleashed and rvp kos and vermaelens mangoddishness

Looks to have the lot, good control, can beat players and shoot, is fast and not a dwarf

He looks very promising. That finish around the 7 minute mark reminds me of a goal that Henry scored against Sparta Prague once.

Does anyone know why his goal record is relatively poor in Belgium? Was he used in midfield up until recently?
