I know what the rule is, I just don't like it. It encourages the players to cheat because they know it's much easier - as in, it takes far less skill - to get there first, whack the ball away and throw yourself down, than it does to try and take a good touch away from the keeper that still gives you a chance of scoring.

See what you're saying, just dont know how you could make it in to a rule.

Milan themselves are a very good passing team. This pitch can't be helping them either. The surface should really be better.

Robinho's injury required his sock be sprayed.
He's a very irritating player. Always get the feeling he's never truly committed to the team effort.

We really dodged a bullet on the Robinho and Baptista proposed transfers. Would've been a waste of money to make Dalglish beam with delight.

Goodness, Barca are a dull lot. It's Mighty Mouse + 10 hypnotists.

Biggus put in a call to Guardiola

Iniesta off! Was he injured? I have the sound muted.

Why's Fabregas not playing?

Pep playing it cagey and defensive tonight.
Cesc not disciplined enough for this game?

Italian defensive midfielder in yellow card for tactical foul on half way line shocker!

Only surprise was that he didn't put more effort in to the "who me!?" protest.

Don't think so but he's been poor tonight.

Barca have struggled a bit away from home this season, isn't it? He isn't disciplined enough.

Munich strolling through. No way Marseilles will beat them at home.

I think he's had a really poor season by his standards.

The saviour is here, Mesbah!!!

I've only caught small segments of Marseille - Bayern but it looks like the first goal opened up the game. Marseille should have kept their cool after Mandanda's mistake. Bayern will win 5 or 6 to nothing on aggregate now.

Didn't he have some personal problems earlier in the season? Can't think now but could have been depression.

Looks like that 75 minutes took it's toll on Nesta.

Mandanda is suspended Klausie. Was some other dude made the mistake.

And yes, was quite close before the first goal.

I'm sure the poor pitch is a contributing factor, but watching Barca struggle a bit goes go to show how much of a difference a few injuries can make to the balance and effectiveness of a team. Even one as good as Barcelona.

😆

Looked like those 75 minutes aged him 10 years. Which would make him 106.
