What is it that people have a problem with here exactly? Our two biggest problems is that we have too little creativity in the side and that none of the backup strikers are currently good enough for Arsenal. In Park we get a player who's both creative and a better striker than those we have for squad depth. And he's hardly eating away from our transfer funds that should indeed be used to strengthen the midfield and the wide posisions with a marquee signing or two. People who think that players like Benzema, Di Natale (as if!!) and Forlan would come here and sit on the bench need to wake up and smell the coffee.
Nobody's really complaining any more are they?
Not many knew who he was initially but the initial surprise has worn off.
It was completely out of the blue so it's only natural that people would wonder about the value of this signing.
Unless the suggestion is that any signing now is a good one and we should not even question it?
It does appear that this could be a handy acquisition of a clever player who can provide decent back-up for van Persie.
I am of course taking this as being the case based on the more informed opinion of those who have been tracking Park during his time at Monaco 🙂
Like flobaba YouTube clips don't tell me much.
Even Robbie Keane looks decent in highlight compilations.
Everything else aside, at least he didn't cost the earth so there is plenty in reserve for the more significant signings that need to be made before Wednesday midnight.
