He's more of a Makelele in my opinion. A Makelele with decent technique, but still. His thing is to sit back, play his square, recycle possession and play it short and quick. I think people compare him to Vieira because he's big and powerful and plays the DM position, but in real life there are few similarities.
He's not a bad player but I personally don't care for the type. It's hard to see what he'd do better than Frimpong at the moment, but we'll see I guess.
