wengers most recent comments were 'he's in the french market'

M'Vila, Lucho, or Hazard pls

Don't rate him at all, but the squad is in such a poor state at the moment that I'd take almost anyone just to make up the numbers.

Why don't you rate him in particular? Most seem to.

Didn't the Sochaux & Rennes presidents yesterday say that neither Martin nor M'Vila were leaving? M'Vila said the same the other day too.

Didn't Wenger say Fabregas wasn't leaving and still maintains Nasri isn't leaving?

Who knows what we will get if anything until the window closes.

Just know this is a big week for us and wenger personally

Pretty sure M'Vila himself said on Canal+ that he didn't want to leave Lille.

Besides, few people in football are as full of shit as Wenger.

Sorry, was thinking of Hazard. But supposedly, M'Vila still said he wanted to stay. Trying to find quotes now.

Wouldn't surprise me. I don't think Hazard is hell-bent on moving either.

I really fail to see how the wenger can stump 3 first team quality signings in 9 days

... especially if he couldn't do it in the last 90 days. There is a real danger that he could waste a bunch of cash on the Valbuenas and Jadsons of this world

Isn't that exactly what Wenger has said he won't do?

He has already wasted money this summer. The Gervinho + Oxhead money could have gotten a single super quality player like Mata. We can't even bring Oxhead on to add a different dimension when we are struggling in games. I don't care what Wenger says. This is a guy who knowingly lied to the media when he said we weren't selling Fabregas and Nasri

He said we weren't selling both, and we haven't yet. Unfortunately we sold the wrong one of the two though.

He also said Fabregas is going nowhere two days before he flew to Barcelona to sign with them. He is living in la-la land

I don't think that's what he said.

Are we back to splitting hairs on what Wenger says or tries to say? It's what he does that matters and he's been rubbish thus far.

Don't think there's a worry he'll sign the Valbuenas and Jadsons (is Jadson that bad? I wouldn't mind at this late stage) it's him trying to sign another over 30 bargain like he's done over the past few years. On the other hand, if he's buying someone like Vermaelen, Nasri or Sagna who will go straight into the first team, I'm all for it!
